Definitely my favourite Sushi place in the area. Great selection of fresh sushi plus some yum hot dishes you can order. (Recommend Katsu chicken & rice dish). Staff are friendly and super helpful. Never a problem to make extra if something’s run out. Highly recommended!
I tried this on a Saturday for lunch and the salmon in the sushi was so fresh and clearly nz not Atlantic rubbish. The tonkatsu ramen was also fantastic, and they don’t use MSG so it’s more healthy. The Asian gentleman serving us was so friendly too. I really enjoyed this compared to another U Sushi I’ve visited a long time ago. Highly recommended.
*1/5 stars - Avoid U Sushi* I recently had the misfortune of dining at U Sushi, and I'm still trying to process the disappointment. The quality of the sushi was subpar, with some pieces feeling like they had been sitting out for too long. The fish lacked freshness, and the presentation was unimpressive. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant. Paying top dollar for substandard food is never a good deal. The service was also lacking, with our server seemingly disinterested in our experience. Unless they revamp their menu and service, I'd strongly advise against wasting your money at U Sushi. There are far better sushi spots out there that won't leave you feeling ripped off.
Incredible catering for a work lunch, super easy communication and very accommodating to our needs. Food was incredible and everyone commented on how great it was. Our thanks to Serene and James, we will definitely think of you next time!
