   resto is inside papamoa mall.lots of rice i should say.after eating, i said to myself i will not be able to eat sushi for 1 month at least. big servings.although there are plenty of options i reckon they are just the se, prepared differently.eg honey soy chicken, can be on stick, popcorn, or chicken pieces. good they have springroll and korean chicken in their menu other than sushi and rice bowls.

   Had the new Honey Chicken Dish and it was so good. Better then any other Japanese fried chicken in Tauranga. Came with some hash bites and a coleslaw. I don’t like coleslaw but this one was really good. I added the rice for $2 and it was very fresh. Excellent service and delicious food.

   Sushi isn't what it use to be here. Rice is drier, slices are smaller and there's less filling. Unfortunately I'll be going elsewhere for my sushi fix. EDIT: I have made a mistake. I returned and the sushi is worse. The rice was hard and chicken was "stale". Hopefully next time I'll remember St Pierres is just around the corner

   First visit in this new shopping mall in Papamoa. Kids were hungry and willing to go to Mc Donald’s, but persuaded to eat some healthy meals. We all like Japanese food and we had a great experience in this Smile Sushi shop. Service was pretty fast and courteous , very fresh salmon. All tasted fantastic. Definitely will come back.
