They also had a great selection of colours and styles! Perfect if you're unsure on what you want and if you want to do a bit of browsing. The dresses we picked out arrived very quickly, but unfortunately two of them fitted differently than the samples they had tried on. However, the team was awesome about the issue and re-ordered them as it was the result of a factory issue. The new dresses arrived very fast and the girls all looked amazing on the day! Would 100% recommend Evolution Bridesmaids!!”

“First ever visit and I was not disappointed. The Sausage Roll was fresh, the pastry was crisp the filling was flavourful and filled the pastry. The Almond Croissant and the Panna Chocolate (even tho I didn't try them until I got back to Whakatane about 4hrs later) was absolutely devine. But what topped it all off was that the staff, as well as being friendly and helpful and just a breath of fresh air, actually brought everything out to the car, I have never had anyone do that for me. I am sure that locals know all this about Best anyways but they definitely deserve praise and I challenge all locals to nominate them for the 2024 Prospa Local Business Heroes because they deserve it. The combination of grilled halloumi, falafel, rice, and the creamy sauces on top was just perfect — rich in flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The hummus and tzatziki were authentic and full of taste, and the bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping. The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He made sure everything was served fresh and checked in to see if I was enjoying my meal — a nice personal touch that made the experience even better. You can really feel the passion for good food and customer satisfaction here. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a hearty, flavorful Mediterranean meal and genuine hospitality. “The kind of store that you go to buy one thing and leave with a bag full of stuff you think you need. Some shelves are often left untidy due to customers not returning items they no longer want and this can be annoying at times. Recommend for kid's clothing as there is a large selection of reasonably priced stock. Other redeeming feature is the opening hours, 8am to 12 midnight for those last minute purchases!”

“My niece absolutely loves her new shoes and I couldn’t have been happier with the service. Lydia served me and so helpful and this is the 2nd time so I made sure I got her name! I went in giving her a price range and explaining they were for my niece who was size 11 and I wanted them to last quite some time even though kids grow fast. She gave me lots of options to choose from and recommend I go up a size to give her grow room! This is the 2nd time the same woman has served me. Last time I was shopping for myself and wanted walking shoes. I gave her a price range then as well and she gave me plenty of options and a few different colour options in the shoe I went for too. Also, the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn and they didn’t even need to be worn in like new shoes often do. Great store with great service”

“I recently had to replace a door handle unit that was 15 hyears old. Others I approached told me that they didn't stock it and that was as far as they would go. When I went to Placemakes, they did some researcxh for me and found that it was still being manufactured and could be ordered. TYnhey ordered it for me, it arrived in two working days, and it fitted perfectly. Polite and obliging staff. It will be my first port of call next time I am looking for hardware.”
