“Amazing for kids of all ages. Immaculate facilities, attentive staff and the manager is so friendly and helpful. The kids loved it so much that we returned the following day while on holiday.”
“I love attending Nino's Yin Yoga classes at Yippie Yopi. We work on a specific area each week, and I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, and just blissful. I highly recommend her classes!”

“I was a member of the HYD studio for a few years, before I recently had to move away. I have trialled multiple gyms and studios across the North and South Island within these years, and particularly now since moving. I truly have not found a place that comes somewhat CLOSE to the level of expertise and community felt at HYD. Donna is truly amazing, so unbelievably talented and is an incredibly insightful teacher. Both Mandi and Adrianne’s pilates and mat pilates classes are filled with such high level of detail and execution you would think they have been training this their entire life. If you are looking for yoga, Jess, who teaches hot flow, has a gentle and supporting nature. You will always feel welcome in her class. Cannot recommend this studio enough. These women are absolutely incredible. Much love to the team and practitioners at the studio, I can’t wait to be back. X”
“So good, I was front row. Pretty much on stage.”
“Man, what can I say but a banging good time - not quite as good as Shads ;)”
“Had Bianca cover the sale of our property. An outstanding job with amazing communication and efficiency - a complete turn around from our previous experience with another well known Dunedin firm. Would highly recommend using Bianca’s service.”
“One of the nicer Uni buildings by far, always warm and cozy, plenty of place to study, and with a cafe, I can't really complain, Seminar rooms are also really nice.”
“Lecture theatre is too comfy, too easy to fall asleep in boring stats classes, however not complaining so 5 stars”
“We only stayed one night, were wishing we had booked for longer! Was a neat tidy unit, heater was on when we got there which was nice......we were late with our arrival and they couldn't have been more understanding. Rural location, really quiet, no light coming into room at night and pet friendly!! Cutest receptionist ever, thank you Mr Darcy. Would happily go back and recommend.”
“Monarch Park is a picturesque park that combines natural beauty with excellent amenities. Its lush greenery, walking trails, and well-kept picnic areas make it a perfect spot for families, joggers, and nature enthusiasts. The park's calm and welcoming atmosphere provides a refreshing escape from the hustle of daily life. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy outdoor activities, or connect with the community, Monarch Park is a fantastic choice.”
“I've been hiring the Raye Freedman Arts Centre & Theatre facilities to host shows for more than 15 years! Great team to work with, beautiful stage, always clean & tidy. Lots of space backstage. Highly recommend!”
“Awesome liquor store with lotsof good variety”
“A lovely well managed little community centre with different size rooms for hire and many community and business activities.”
“Barbara Jenner's review above has confused two venues. She is criticising the large Torbay Community Hall which is owned by the TCA - Torbay Community Association. Torbay Theatre, an amateur theatre group, owns the small Gate Theatre which is attached to the Hall. I hope this clarifies things?”
“Beautiful setting and environment. Children play ground as well as walking tracks, one of which leads down to water front. Grounds gets very soggy on wet winters, this is so to the basketball court, paly ground, refer photos. Good summer picnic spot, quite and a hidden gem.”
“The best part are the acoustics. You have very good sound quality wherever you sit. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shows are always of a very high caliber.”
“It was a 5 star performance. The cast performed Young Frankenstein.”
“Beautiful venue with ample parking close. Show we went to see was great. Snacks and drinks available. Kids friendly.”
“Amazing grounds for students to relax in.”

“Auckland Zoo is an easy standout. The staff and volunteers are genuinely friendly and make the whole place feel welcoming. The animals look well cared for and the habitats are clean and well maintained. Plenty to keep the kids entertained with lots of space to explore and learn. Also, the coffee at the front cafe is surprisingly good which is always a win. A smooth, enjoyable visit from start to finish. Great place for families. Parking was closed due to renovations, so we had to park near MOTAT. Nice walk through the park though.”
“Great little park...mini bush walk and playground, and need to mention the Tui's.”
