Great setup, great teaching for all ages and experience levels and I have been able to learn the basics, learn the club setup and start getting gigs. Dylan tailors his teaching to the style of music you want to play and he's been supportive in helping me navigate the scene and find and promote my initial gigs.
Dylan is an excellent teacher and extremely patient and understanding, you improve your skills quickly and understand the art and the technique of being a good DJ fast. He teaches everything from DnB through House to all the latest sounds. All tempos and mixing styles. I have completed the 6-week beginners' course at Industry Dj School, and I strongly recommend taking this course no matter your current level. There is something for everybody. Dylan's tailored one on one classes got me up to speed with the basics of mixing a set. Another crucial part was getting insider knowledge on where and how to find the music that I'd like to play which has been great on expanding my musical flavours and find underground tunes that works well for my sets. Each session builds on from the last continuing on my developments. It's been great having a place to go to and play with a club set up, have a boogie and listen to my set on full volume. Industry DJ School is a relaxing and encouraging learning environment. Learning at whatever speed you might be at. Thanks Dylan it's been fantastic!
5 stars isnt enough to rate Industry DJ School! Dylan is the most positive, fun and patient music tutor I've ever known. Every session is unique and i leave feeling so inspired and happy. He has a wealth of knowledge in various music genres, and has also given me the opportunity to play at gigs pushing me out of my comfort zone to do my best.. all for the love of music!
Had an awesome time doing the beginners block course with Dylan. Dylan is a really good teacher and enjoys helping others get the skills to become a DJ. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking about becoming a DJ or even would like to just give it a go.
Dylan is such a warm approachable guy who makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in the room. He has a wealth of knowledge of DJ equipment and is great at advising what would be the best for you. His teaching style is not over-complicated and even though I'm quite technically challenged I can understand his instructions. I booked 6 lessons to gain more confidence and sharpen up my skills. It is an hour of my week that I most look forward to and I really love bringing out my tunes to play and see him getting the same enjoyment as I get from them. The most well mannered, welcoming, and patient person ever. Dylan is not only a DJ tutor but he is also your mate, and his ways of teaching you the arts of being a DJ can be taught in either a day or a week.
