   I’ve always been more of a singer and never really played any instruments before, but I decided to pick up guitar with Rohan here in New Lynn. Honestly, I was nervous at first since I didn’t know anything about guitar, but Rohan made it really comfortable and easy to follow. He explains things step by step and I can already play a few chords, which feels amazing. I love how the lessons connect my singing with guitar playing — it feels like I’m finally able to accompany myself. Couldn’t recommend Rohan enough for anyone starting from scratch like me.

   Rohan taught my son guitar lessons an over a year ago, at his home and then online when we moved house. I was really impressed by how thorough and dedicated he was as a teacher. He’s a Christian and brings that same care and integrity into his teaching. He and his wife also put together a beautiful annual concert that gives each student, whether child or adult, a chance to showcase their skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. My son is now quite confident to play the guitar for us when we have family devotions and will be practicing for church! I highly recommend!

   I highly recommend Rohans Music classes if your child is keen to learn Guitar or Violin. He is an amazing teacher and is very patient and gentle with the kids. My daughter has been learning violin from him and I must say she is super excited before every class to meet him, chat with him and learn new tunes. She never ever wants to miss any of her violin lesson. The recital organised by Rohan at the year end was very engaging and entertaining, a great platform for the kids to showcase their talent. Kudos to you Rohan!

   An excellent guitar and violin teacher in the neighbourhood with great attention to details like instrument holding, finger placement and tracking daily progress of enrolled enthusiasts. A high school teacher by profession, Rohan is kind, friendly and patient with younger audience. My kid and the neighbours’ are making great progress. Fees is competitive and a total value for money for us.
