“This is a amazing restaurant. The food is top notch and great size servings.”
“Another fantastic Sushi Platter from Tornado Sushi, to help us celebrate our annual O'Hanami (Sakura Blossom viewing) dinner. Lee's dishes are still as delicious as when I first ate his Sushi 31 years ago. Thank you”
“I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The restaurant boasts a tantalizing array of authentic Arabic kababs and a diverse selection of other mouthwatering dishes that truly transport your taste buds to the heart of the Middle East. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the kababs; they were perfectly seasoned and the meat was grilled to perfection, offering a blend of flavors and tenderness that was simply exceptional. Each bite was a journey through the rich culinary traditions of the region, leaving me craving more. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is not just the delectable food but also the impeccable service and the warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make your dining experience memorable. They are more than willing to offer recommendations and provide insights into the menu, making even newcomers feel right at home.”

“I order frequently from here on uber eats and pick up. The food (particularly the sashimi) is consistently high quality, fresh and taste amazing. Its so rare to find a place that does amazing sashimi. They deliver it with a small frozen bag to ensure freshness too. Perfect service. Thank you!”
“I was pleasantly surprised to find a highly-rated Thai restaurant nearby on Google. Though the restaurant is quite small, it's exceptionally clean. We ordered pad Thai, fried squid, and green curry - all of which were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. I'd particularly recommend it to locals; you won't be disappointed.”

““No gods or kings, only cocktails.” The vibes here are super chill—perfect if you’re after something more lowkey. The place seems inspired by fantasy themes and games, giving it a mystical feel. We arrived as a group of four around 10:00 pm on a Saturday. The person serving us was really lovely, taking the time to explain the different types of drinks they offer and happily answering our questions about specific liquors or custom requests. She also made some great recommendations. We ordered the White Witch, Banana Bread (brandy), Arkangel (gin), and The Last Word (I think that’s what it was called—Chartreuse-based). I especially enjoyed how fragrant the cocktails were, with the Banana Bread and Arkangel standing out. It was also cool to learn that they make a lot of their liquors and mixers in-house— including infused boozy cucumbers. We had a great time and really appreciated the hospitality. Would definitely love to visit again next time I’m in Wellington.”
“100% Vegetarian! Adored this wee family run Persian Cafe! The atmosphere is so cozy. I had a solo work lunch here and ordered their Pirashki and a Napoleon. Pirashki is a Persian pastry! It’s a mini pie type dish filled with tasty lentils. The Napoleon is a cream and flaky pastry ‘cake’ slice! Very classic and it was delicious. I can’t wait to come back here to have a proper meal!”
“The space is gorgeous and the staff was incredible, the service was very personal and warm. The food was incredible and unexpectedly flavoursome. We had dishes refreshungly unique and honestly the whole experience was amazing.”
“We were treated to a beautiful authentic French four course dinner last week and it was simply superb! We often visit for lunch, and every time we are greeted with wonderful service and even better food - this dinner was something extra special though! Merry Christmas and we'll see you again soon!”
“This little gem of a restaurant truly lives up to its high Google rating. As a connoisseur of Indian food, I was impressed by the quality of the dishes. The samosa entrée was superb, and the chef accommodated our request for a combination prawn and chicken madras, making it perfect for sharing and easy on the wallet and waistline. The meal was complemented by a delicious garlic naan and friendly service. This restaurant is a valuable asset to the Raglan hospitality scene. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.”
“Fantastic hand made udon noodles, freshly made with a delicious dipping soup base. The fried chicken was crunchy and flavoursome. Generous portions. Small restaurant with only 3 tables inside but also 3 outside. Friendly staff, oudl definitely come again”

“An amazing home base for exploring Napier! We stayed in the downstairs studio and loved it. Totally private from the rest of the house with a modern bathroom and cosy bedroom and sitting room. Set right next to the forested gully it’s a very peaceful place to stay. Very close to town and the Ahuriri side of the hill too. Highly recommend staying here as Kitty is a great host and the room is splendid”
“My fav sushi in the world. Teriyaki chicken SO tasty. Avocado always perfect. Always great choice throughout their trading hours. The old boy always greets you and is always happy. I lunch there 4 times a week. Thanks for the great food”
“Chunky Chook makes some of the best crunchy fried chicken in the West! Reminds me of other chicken places in town, but closer to home (and just as good, if not better!). Their chicken is really juicy and tender, with a really crisp battered crust. I do enjoy the flavours they bring to both the chicken patties (especially their spicy chicken burger) and the chips. Subtle but noticeable. Always a great choice for lunch or dinner, and the amazing team there make it worthwhile.”
“This is a wonderful coffee shop, and the owner is really nice. They take the time to ask about your food and drink preferences, which makes the experience feel personal. I really enjoy coming here everything is good, and the friendly service stands out. Highly recommend!”

“It was my first time at a vegan restaurant but I did enjoy my meal. We left it up to the chef and chose the big feast option which is $59pp (minimum 2 people) and a wine pairing for 1 person $35. I was so stuffed I had to go for a walk afterwards.”
