   Lovely place, that seems to get very busy on Friday evenings. They have a bathroom that is hidden behind the bookshelf which is pretty cool. Staff are nice but seemed to be very understaffed with only 2 people working and the place was packed with people Have ordered “Rome with a view” cocktail and got a bit disappointed with the presentation and the wait time (approximately 30min). There’s only a quarter of the actual drink and the rest is a huge chunk of ice.

   If you love an independent place, than Elixir is the place for you. I had 'A room with a view' & nibbles. Wonderful and cosy! Would highly recommend. I wish I could have more time to visit here. As I'd definitely come back.

   “No gods or kings, only cocktails.” The vibes here are super chill—perfect if you’re after something more lowkey. The place seems inspired by fantasy themes and games, giving it a mystical feel. We arrived as a group of four around 10:00 pm on a Saturday. The person serving us was really lovely, taking the time to explain the different types of drinks they offer and happily answering our questions about specific liquors or custom requests. She also made some great recommendations. We ordered the White Witch, Banana Bread (brandy), Arkangel (gin), and The Last Word (I think that’s what it was called—Chartreuse-based). I especially enjoyed how fragrant the cocktails were, with the Banana Bread and Arkangel standing out. It was also cool to learn that they make a lot of their liquors and mixers in-house— including infused boozy cucumbers. We had a great time and really appreciated the hospitality. Would definitely love to visit again next time I’m in Wellington.

   We discovered Elixir, a cocktail bar, through a friend’s recommendation. The place is quite tucked away and not very crowded, but as soon as you walk in, you’re warmly welcomed. It’s run by the owners themselves, who are incredibly friendly and make the experience so personal. This is a Fernet focused bar, but they also craft cocktails tailored to your preferences. My favorite is, without a doubt, the Twilight Fog, but honestly, everything I tried was amazing. I went on Friday with friends and loved it so much that I came back on Saturday with my husband. We also tried the tiramisu and had a lovely chat with the owners. The atmosphere is super inviting, with such friendly vibes. Highly recommend this place, it’s the perfect spot for every date night. We’ll definitely be coming back!

   Had the most wonderful experience here when visiting Wellington! We sat at the bar as all the tables were full and I am glad we did. We ended up having some great chats with the owners and trying more interesting drinks than we would have if we were left to decide ourselves. This place is really special and the drinks are outstanding! I wish we had time to go back to try more drinks and their food menu.
