Hashtag Cafe is a Grey Street spot for coffee and globallyβinspired streetβfood plates. Menus rotate through breakfast and lunch with items like beef tacos, Japanese crispy chicken, porkβbelly wraps, poke bowls, bagels and cabinet sweets, with online ordering on delivery apps.
Stayed at tauranga for a week for business purpose and tried different items on the menu. They all tasted great, service was superb, a highly recommend cafe.
β What a great discovery Hashtag Cafe was. The service is incredibly quick and friendly, and their bagels are, without a doubt, the best in town. They have that authentic, fresh taste that you just can't find anywhere else. I'll definitely be back.
Just thought I would give this place a try because I saw the sign and how can you say no to coffee and a bagel for $10 - met with Claudi the owner, what a legend. Hooked me up with a cream cheese cumin bagel and a coffee - Organico (one of the best if you like coffees and it is prepared properly). Will definitely be on the monthly stop in list. This is the sort of place we need to support if we want places like this in the future
We're from out of town and this was the first thing we ate on holiday here. The Fish Tacos and Poke Bowl were outstanding, very well balanced flavours and the fish was very fresh! The music and service were great. We ordered lattes which were stunning, we could tell there was attention to detail put into the coffee here - we will probably drop in for a coffee before we leave! Would 100% recommend this place for food or coffee, or both!
First time coming here today, and I had the best experience and couldnβt stop talking to my friends about it at uni of how they should come here and they said they will. I got the $10 bagel and coffee deal, and the bagel was amazing and had cream cheese in it and the guy was so nice and friendly and gave me a free thing. It made my day as Iβve been so stressed with uni β€οΈ
Amazing food. And the service was even better. Went out of the way to help when we left an item there after a brilliant brunch.
Best place ever! So tasty and no guilt at all! We all had a meal each and feel so happy! So amazing and delicious! Alternative coffee options are amazing too!
I found the experience very nice, the food was good and the service was very polite, attentive and more important fast. The atmosphere was also a great aspect about the cafe, the paintings and art lining the walls and the different seats and chairs really brought a modernist feel, Iβm not sure if thatβs what they were going for but it was nice. Overall I ordered a beagle, and it was probably the best bagel Iβve ever had. Would recommend or or go again.
I was on vacation in Tauranga early February and had breakfast here and the food was all amazing! I can only take seafood so i got fish tacos n salmon poke bowl and today i wrote this review because i miss the food! I'm now thousands miles away and fasting lol!
