“The place is just a replica of BBQ nation outlet in India. First they serve you all the BBQ dishes (Unlimited) like Chicken, fish, prawn, pineapple and Kumara. They also serve fried fish and potato with sause. You can then go ahead and enjoy the buffet food which has Indian and continental dish (just one). Overall the experience was very amazing and great service. The food was delicious and restaurant beautiful ambient set up gives a very relaxed atmosphere while enjoy the soft music in background. But expensive but worth a try. Good for family and big groups. Try for Groupon voucher to get a good deal and save some bucks.”

“Had dinner at Portofino Takapuna, an authentic Italian restaurant by the beach. I ordered the Prosciutto Pizza and Seafood Risotto—both were absolutely amazing. The pizza was perfectly baked with a thin, crispy base and generous toppings, while the risotto was rich, creamy, and full of fresh seafood flavours. A truly delightful dining experience that captures the taste of Italy right here in Takapuna. Highly recommended!”

“We had a wonderful meal there last night. The views were fantastic, all the wait staff and the hostess were lovely and very helpful. We had someone who was GF and she was well looked after. Everything was made fresh and we couldn’t fault it. The massaman lamb was delicious and the money bags were the best we have eaten. The prices were reasonable too. Will definitely be back!! The menu can be misleading and didn't have prices for eggs on toast etc. (Photo provided). Great little cafe, music good, staff friendly and efficient. Coffee was very good and cosy atmosphere. Only complaint is the rickety seating and tables.”
