Been coming here for years and it was great until recently. Got the $18 meal deal and got about 5 chips with it. The two pieces of fish were half the size of a regular piece of fish. I had heard it went downhill, I guess I had to find out for myself.
Been going here for years but they have really gone down hill in customer service and product. Chips were good, chicken fried rice was so burnt that I can’t taste anything but that. Little to no egg through it for $18 is a rip off. So disappointed.
I came here last night and ordered the potato fritters, fish and chips along with the sweet and sour pork which was really fresh and tasted like a authentic Chinese taste. Both the fried foods were also on point as they were fresh and crunchy
We ordered dinner for family of 4. Sweet n sour pork, 2 battered sausages and a "$12 deal" of 2 fish, 2 potato fritters and a portion of fries. How disappointing the whole meal was. The pork was chewy and over cooked (reused?). The "deal" was a shameful small portion and cold fries too, not to mention there was only a very small amount of chips too. . The fish tasted old :(. I'll never go back here.
The worst fish and chips I have ever had. Paid $7 something for the tiniest overcooked snapper, the “cheese” and potato balls actually had no cheese (not an over statement..) the kumura fries were dry and stale and the corn fritter tasted like raw dough with corn garnished in it. NEVER AGAIN! Do yourself a favour and don’t go here. We all feel sick after eating this food. Never have I ever felt conned by food before. This is unacceptable..
This place is A++++. Awesome sea-dogs and the best egg foo yong! Pricing, taste, service, everything is the best! Thankyou M8!
Excellent friendly service, great value and tasty food.
Never again. Overcooked fish and as for the "homemade" mussel fritter, this was basically not fit for a dog. 4 little bits of mussel bound together with yellow glue.
Quality of food here is fantastic, bit pricey though for fish and chips. Overall a good place to get your Friday night takeaways. Staff always friendly here.
Sadely this is the second time we've had a huge mistake with a big order. Platters mixed with 3 dishes that were supposed to all be separate and 2 platters short upon pick up. What was even more disappointing once getting home to dish the dinners out we basically spent $107 on a combination of brocoli and cauliflower playing spot the piece of meat. Only aspect was good is the the guy was very polite but for the food quality, would not recommend
