We love it so much that we travel all the way from South East Auckland just so our doggo can stay here, even if it is just for a weekend trip.”

“Thank you so much for your care and love you show my little girl lilly. Lilli is a particularly small smooth coat chihuhua . She is so placid and calm . I can't see clearly enough to feel confident in cutting her tiny nails. The ladies scoop her up and are so amazing with her . Lilly would shake a little before getting her nails done but is calm and happy to have them done. She never shakes going to buddies and I think she loves all the attention . “We absolutely love this place! We were worried at first as our pup wasn’t very social, but this place has totally transformed him. He’s more confident, social and loves playing with the other dogs. I love the fact that we keep getting updates and photos/videos throughout the day. We truely feel that they care and love our pup! “Our first stop after arriving in New Zealand, not too far from the airport which was excellent after a long flight. Cottage was clean, bright and homely. It was so comfortable staying there. So many different spreads and jams provided for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitant to recommend to our friends.”

“I want to thank the team at Top Dogs Day Stay for the recent grooming they did on Stormy and Benji. It started with a consultation as to what I thought needed doing, and then they gave some ideas and I left them to it. When I picked them up afterwards they looked very smart. Their hair was trimmed to perfection, their ears were nice and clean, and their claws nicely trimmed. They also smelt wonderful. Thanks so much team; you are amazing!!”

“This is a great place to stay in Devonport. The proprietors seem to have thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice little treats left by the bedside. I can't imagine what could have made it better. Also, it's within easy walking distance of a multitude of cafes, restaurants and other shopping.”

“We loved spending 4 nights at Wild Thyme! Our hosts were gracious and helpful, with Bruce picking us up at the ferry and delivering us back to the ferry at the end of our stay. We recommend spending a day touring wineries with Jules. It was also easy to walk into town from Wild Thyme, or catch at bus at the bottom of the hill. The bus took us to additional wineries!”

“It is the little things....what a gorgeous place to stay. Tracy was super friendly and so accommodating. We mixed up our times and she was happy to help. The room was very comfortable and morning tea and coffee just outside our room was perfect. Breakfast downstairs with a beautiful view. We could not have asked for more. “Purrfurred Cattery is second to none! Sally and the team do an excellent job of making fur babies feel happy, loved and cared for away from home. We have two adventurous and rather large and demanding Siamese boys. They are always cared for and accommodated in a way that works for them. Thank you so much for the level of kindness, patience and care offered. We appreciate all the Purrfurred team do! Facilities are large, varied and clean. The cat minders are conscientious and considerate of each cat’s needs. Our boys return home settled and happy. A very special place that we are thankful to have established a relationship with.”

My dogs are always excited to go to daycare and come home happy and exhausted from a day of play and attention. “Urban dogs is a god send. I just recently adopted a 4 month old puppy, live alone and work 12 hour shifts. Urban dogs picks up my girl and drops her off for an extra charge, so I can have the ability to care for a pet without changing my career. They post photos daily so you can see your dog’s day, and they have extra packages for day trips to the farm or pool days. They take extra care observing temperament, behavioural signals, and energy levels to allow for a safe playful environment. Perfect for shift workers, day trips, and those who treat their pet like family. Shout out to Cassidy for making my experience easy and comfortable.”

“I was so lucky to find these lovely people.They have been fantastic from the first visit till the last, when I had to euthanize my buddy after 12 years. Definitely recommend the team, even if you're outside the area, I drove past two vets to get to them each visit for their great service.”

“Great spot, further out of town so cats are in a quiet farm setting. The owner really cares for all of them which means your cat isn't just a number. Each set of rooms has an enclosed outdoor space and they get to run around in it daily when it's their chance, rather than just having a small cage they stay in for the whole stay. The rooms and outdoor areas also look out onto the fields of sheep/pigs etc... so there is stimulation vs watching the side of a road or the opposite building.”

“We are so glad we’ve found Eyrewell Kennels! It was the first time we’ve had our 6 month old puppy Taika stay in a kennel. From the moment of initial contact they put our mind at ease with what to expect and once arriving you could see immediately what a great facility it is. Huge outdoor grass areas with separate section’s for different dogs and very clean indoor kennels with air conditioning. Taika loved his stay and will happily be booking future use at Eyrewell.
