   Very good veiw of Auckland city and sky tower. Very beautiful. Beautiful boat.. The Tidal Steps which expand off Karanga Plaza, allow for people to sit and watch the boats go by, get their toes wet or jump right in for a swim.The tidal stairs provide a symbolic and tactile connection to the waters of the Waitematā and invites touching, swimming and ceremonial arrival. The generously scaled steps create a natural gathering place and vantage point from which to view the speactacle of the city and water based activity.

   A little area by the Karanga Plaza and the Wynyard Crossing where people can go for a dip in the water. The steps gives different levels of submersion. Make sure that you keep within the area so that you don't get run over by the boats. It is also quite a nice area to just relax and enjoy the environment.
