The hike wasn't too tough. The views from the top are amazing, totally worth it. They even have an old WWII cannon up there. It's a really cool piece of history. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.
Love taking shots of the curved railing. Great to walk along the waterfront and beach. There is also a cool playground for kids.
This is another good green area in the Devonport suburb and very closely located to the Devonport wharf. The library and shops are close by as well. It is calming to spend time here and go for a stroll on the beach nearby. Although it can be crowded at times due to ease of access and popularity. A kids play area is also installed here which makes it a fun place for a family visit.
Took the ferry across to Devonport before Anzac Day and had a lovely lunch on the esplanade. Poignant time of contemplation visiting the Devonport dawn Anzac preparations. My father joined the air force and fought in both the second world war and the Korean war. We have so much to be thankful for in the freedoms they were willing to give their lives for for the preservation of our Western way of life
Good place for childen to play in park and for adults to enjoy the beach. Beside that in devenport any one got tickets to get a ferry ride to city, and near by is lands for work, for school or for enjoyment at cheap rates.
Good little park to keep kids entertain. We had fun time riding ferry from CBD, playing in the playground and going back.
Excellent little reserve to take the kids for a day out. While not listed exclusively, the playground here is very nice for both bigger and smaller children, it is mostly under the coverage of trees so accompanying adults have a place to relax while kids play.
