   Wowee, just a beautiful location. Great Waikato River Trail walk nearby. Stayed 1 night freedom camping in our caravan. Felt safe. Has very clean toilets. Gas BBQs there if want to use + picnic tables. Beautiful views.

   Beautiful sunset views & facilities clean. The 'landing' is actually fairly short/small in person so if you're after a tranquil isolating spot this may not be the best choice (being free, it seems to be quite popular so you are bound to have close neighbours- plus i noted several visitors who park up for a duration). The landing across the Lake (Bulmers) can disturb the peace as voices travel. I did not swim but many did & it looked lovely. A small waterfall accessible by watercraft just around from the jetty. Most negative aspect were the showers being very loud and woke me up.

   Jones landing river trail to arapuni swing bridge amazing trail fantastic views the whole trail of the river some steep paths but great wide pathways the walk took about 2 hours with lots of different seating offered thru out the walk

   Just went for a one night camp trip to check it out, what an awesome little camp. Free to stay, hot showers and flushable toilets. Some people complain about the toilets but they were hygienic and clean. Floors just need a sweep now and again. U need to take ur own water as the water used for showers and toilet sink is lake water. They have a rubish and recycling bins too. A cute little jetty and a boat ramp. U will need a permit if u want to stay for 2 days or more. Lived this place and def going back.

   What a great little spot! Everything you need. Toilets, showers, BBQs, recycling and rubbish bins. Great for families with good access to the river, boat ramps and playground. We'll be back for sure!

   Great spot. Went over new years and it was quite busy. Only thing I can fault is the bathrooms. The female one needs the sink pipe fixed as it leaks all over the bathroom floor and gets gross fast.

   Free camping with shower, very clean. Good for cyclist. Table and bench. No drinking water. BBQ there. No power for changing. No supermarkt near! Nice quiet camp. All for free how beautiful at the river.

   Brilliant place, easy access boat ramps with other surrounding boat ramps. Well maintained area and toilets. Has great amenities for a family day out. Cute waterfall to look at as well!
