“Super helpful staff when asking for advice on plants etc”
“Great variety of flowers, veges and gifts. Had lunch at the cafe. Great service, great food!”
“We experienced this lovely Bakery when we delivered the leadlight door for repair last week. We decided then to return for a lunch (had coffee and scone/cake first time). Wonderful service, fantastic restful environment with some vintage radio from the historic village radio station. I had the wrap and the doughnut . Diane had 9also the doughnut) and what she described as being "fantastically light, delicious pie"”

“We loved how friendly the staff were and the food was delicious. The singer created a great vibe which made us want to stay and drink for longer. Highly recommend.”
“My wife had heard about this place through a patient of hers and had sent me the link as a place we must try. We finally got out there on lunchtime. My Coeliac wife was tempted by the Gluten Free sweet treats in the cabinet and I opted for a burger. We were initially confused as to who was staff in their plain clothes, and there seemed to be quite a few of them, but they were very friendly and polite. The food was exceptional. We really enjoyed the flavours in both the sweet and the burger, which were quite different to most places we visit. The coffee was also really good. We will gladly return to try other dishes on the menu.”
On the plate at Blackberry Eatery BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER, the idea is classic fish‑and‑chips and well judged. Value feels fair for the quality. Eggs land on point and toast keeps its crunch. Portions are generous yet well judged.
“this place is such a gem, the food is delish and so affordable, staff are friendly and coffee is great! love coming here every time i visit the bay”
“Always a clean and presentable supermarket like most new worlds, however personally I've not yet come across a new world that makes pies like the supermarket. -Gourmet steak and blue vein pie 9.2/10 Very suprised this hasn't won any awards. They dont spare it on the blue vein, and steak peices are very high quality. If you love blue vein cheese, you'll love this. - Steak, bacon, and cheese pie 8.6/10 All aspects of this pie are on point. Would have been higher if it was the same.shape as the steak and blue vein. However, it's still a great pie.”
“Excellent cafe , Great coffee ☕️ friendly cheerful staff, easy parking , nice food & variety, outdoor seating & tables , fruit & veges , eggs & lollies”
The Tennyson favours a coffee-and-cabinet line-up with clear, tidy flavours. Service moves quickly through the morning rush. There’s room for a casual brunch with friends. Music and pace keep a casual tone.
The kitchen at Paddy's Irish Pub takes a grill-focused path and lets the food speak. A coastal backdrop rounds out the stop. Grill work shows a clean sear and rested meats. Value feels fair for the spread.
On the plate at Bay Espresso Karamu Road, the idea is coffee-and-cabinet and well executed. There’s room for a casual brunch with friends. Team members keep things friendly and on task. Meals land promptly at the pass.
“Really good food, but very small portions for the price. Look, I don't mind paying a lot of money for good food, but giving an amazing bene with one piece of bread instead of two saves you $0.10 and takes away my full enjoyment of the meal. I would be posting a 5 star review if I just received two pieces of bread.”
“Almond croissant, potato salad, date scone”
“Very cosy and tasty boba! Best time to get after a long day of school/work with a friend”
“First time had breakfast from here, even though visited couple of times before. Food surpassed my expectations. Egg Benedict with bacon was yummy.Perfectly cooked bacon and tasty bread. Big breakfast was good too. Also, best friand ever.Coffee was ok. I think morning is the perfect time to visit this cafe. Other times the cafe seems very busy and you will get least attention.”
The Baaa Sports Bar & Grill delivers a simple, bistro-style offering that’s straight to the point. Service stays present without fuss. Wait times are contained even when busy. A sensible spend for the quality.

“Generous helping of food Nice coffee”
“Very clean and stylish Cafe. Good coffee. Was the only couple there on a quiet Saturday morning. Great vibe and food was great will definitely be back.”
“Great coffee ☕️ highly recommended this place, small cafe but don’t let that put you off. Well worth the stop”
“I have been going to the Little Oven for my coffee fix during the week and Saturday morning for so many years. Muffins are yum, a couple of savory options and 3/4 sweet and scones. A selection of sandwiches, salads, quiche and vegetarian pies (you'd swear you were eating meat), sweetcorn pies mmmm. The usual selection of s/m/l coffees, Teas, Hot Chocolates all moderately priced. A coffee card stamped at each purchase and get yourself a free muffin after 5 or 10 drinks. Today Pumpkin Soup was on the menu, delicious. I've also asked for dumplings at times. Ni need to cook dinner They don't charge a surcharge on public holidays, you can ring in an order and drink while you're waiting to get on the motorway at Queenstown Rd or going for your walk or bike ride. Coffee is great, service is great, food is great, location is great. Sit down or takeaway. It's a stones throw from the Waikowai boardwalk and Temanu Reserve. Staff are friendly and cheerful. AAA+++”
“Moist and flavourful carrot cake, great coffee and fantastic service. They did get our coffee order wrong but everything else was so great, it wouldn't stop me going back!”
“Excellent food and coffee. The Avo Smash with poached eggs and a flat white is the perfect brekkie. The staff are all very nice. Having the outdoor patio is an added bonus.”
“Delicious real kiwi breakfast without all the mayo and extras some people can't eat.”
“I absolutely love coming here! The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and they make you feel like a valued regular even if it’s your first visit. everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious and really fresh. The pearls are perfectly chewy, and I especially recommend the brown sugar milk tea if you want something a little naughty. The shop is also clean and cozy, making it a nice spot to chill with friends. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!”
“The food here is AMAZING. Every single dish we ordered was perfection and the smoothies are to die for. We ate so much food as it was so delicious! The service was impeccable. Even though the cafe is not near where we live, we will definitely return regardless as our experience was perfection. Highly recommend!”
“The best coffee and scones in Wellington, fair trade certified, expertly made and delicious. Plus they do a lot of awesome community work!”
