   Cafe is in good location but owner treats her staff horribly. Yells at them and is manipulative. I don't support them any more because of it. Food looks nice but must be made from low quality ingredients as I feel tired and sick after eating there.

   Blended Cafe is a great place to grab a quick bite or a coffee. The service is fast and the cafe looks really nice. However, the bagels aren't quite the real deal. They don't taste quite right, like a real New York bagel. Overall, it's a good spot for a quick meal or a coffee, but don't expect an authentic bagel experience.

   My recent experience at Blended Eatery in Papamoa left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I had the unfortunate encounter of dealing with a rather distasteful situation involving the owner's behavior after attempting to enter the establishment after hours. I arrived at Blended Eatery with the intention of grabbing a late-bite, 330 pm unaware of their closing time. Upon entering, I was met with the owner who not only conveyed their message of being closed with an unpleasant tone but also engaged in a conversation that I can only describe as downright disrespectful.

It's top-notch, no doubt about it. And they've got these sweet sugary treats that look as good as they taste. Definitely worth trying out. The best part is the menu caters to the local favorites that the whole family can enjoy. So whether you're on the hunt for a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch, you won't be disappointed. Hey, if you're fed up with waiting in long queues at Pearl, no worries, Blended Eatery is just a short 5-minute walk away. So, you can ditch the lines and enjoy some good eats without the hassle. My personal recommendation? The Rueben Sandwich, a Papamoa version of the New York classic. This is 'munchies' magic! It's sure to hit the spot, especially when paired with a nice cold coke.    I took the FamBam to Blended Eatery for brunch as it’s fast become my favourite place for eggs Bennie. My daughter, being the fusspot that she is, wanted the fried chicken off the lunch menu whilst we were ordering off the breakfast menu. Despite being the only staff member in the kitchen, the lady asked us very nicely if we’d mind a bit of a delay as she hadn’t had a chance to prep the lunch stuff yet. We waited and it all came out together with no drama. The buttermilk chicken was a joy. Hot, crispy and most importantly not greasy. My eggs Bennie still a hit, best hollandaise around. My son had the big breakkie and declared it “choice.” High praise indeed. I love that I don’t have to go in to a long back story of explaining that I don’t want bread or muffin or hash brown. I love that there are multiple keto options. (The coconut turmeric chai latte is delish.) We have often found there to be a shortage of staff recently. But with that said the staff are friendly, polite and service is quick. Only thing I’d suggest is that you put your prices on the cabinet for your slices etc so that I don’t have to see the Favourite Husband pull “that face” when he gets to the till, he’s going to buy it anyway. I think you’re doing a great job and so glad you’re in our neighbourhood.
