I’d seen this place is always so busy so I had to try it out, but I had disappointing experience in terms of both food and service. I had to ask multiples times for the banana bread to be heated up and sent back, and it didn’t come with butter either which it needed for the dryness. The burger is only memorable for the dry chicken :/ The coffees were fine and I liked the elspeth scone. It’s quite crowded and loud inside and out which made the other patrons have to yell to speak each other. Really unfortunate experience here and I don’t think this is for me.

Popped in for a coffee and to buy their delicious bread today. The staff were polite and attentive; one was kindly dealing with a customer who had ordered something not as expected, thinking he'd got the wrong thing but had misunderstood. The ciabatta we ate with dinner [at home] was light and soft, which was pleasing, if less traditional. Our coffee's were excellent and the array of pastries and sandwiches looked fantastic. Tight off street slots for parking, but a good amount of customers, which is surely a good sign.

My wife had heard about this place through a patient of hers and had sent me the link as a place we must try. We finally got out there on lunchtime. My Coeliac wife was tempted by the Gluten Free sweet treats in the cabinet and I opted for a burger. We were initially confused as to who was staff in their plain clothes, and there seemed to be quite a few of them, but they were very friendly and polite. The food was exceptional. We really enjoyed the flavours in both the sweet and the burger, which were quite different to most places we visit. The coffee was also really good. We will gladly return to try other dishes on the menu.

This beef cheek toastie on a rainy winter's day was everything. Ate the whole thing and absolutely stuffed myself. The favours were too good. Haven't eaten again today. So good.

I got the avo smash and chai latte. The avo was AMAZING! The bread to egg ratio was on point. The chai latte was fresh and really good. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxed with lots of plants. The service was really sweet and with a smile. It's located near a road that is under construction just fyi when you visit.

This place is still open! The roadworks just mean you have to get creative in finding a way to get there. Breakfast was delicious, coffee was great, dog friendly, outdoor part with heaters. I recommend the pancakes!

This is one of my absolute favourite brunch eateries in the Mount and Tauranga! I recommend it to all my friends as it never disappoints. Presentation is always stunning and I look forward to the seasonal menu changes as there's always something yummy to try. I've also had swan latte art made with soy – not an easy task! Amazing ✨
