The bar guy was super nice and friendly and was so busy, he did amazing all by himself, he needs a payrise! The food came from next door I think. Definitely recommend the whitebait fritter! It was so full of whitebait, delish! My friend had the steak and said the mushroom sauce was the best she ever had. I had the guiness pie. The pastry was a bit firm but otherwise it was scrumptious. And we didn't even wait long. 10/10 paddys
You could not find a better spot. Great view of the water, late afternoon sun, and delicious food to soak up a full bodied beer. Nice.
2nd time we have visited this bar. small so do recommend you book of you want a decent table. They were short staffed to start tonight but Brandon managed the massive demand well, keeping the wait at the bar very minimal and always with a smile. The food comes from the restaurant next door but fabulous. I highly recommend the beef and Guinness Pie. Wifes steak was cooked as she likes, Will come back again. I do need to give another plug for Brandon as he did an outstanding job given the number of clients.
We had a very large group for several evenings. They really hustled to take care of us.
Nice food, decent sized meals for a decent price, drink was nice, nice staff... Over all a good place for lunch with a view ...
