The kitchen at Vogel St Kitchen takes a burger-led path and lets the food speak. Pricing lines up with the offer. Cakes and scoops finish things neatly. Breakfast plates are tidy and satisfying. KΕ«mara fries and sides add a tidy finish.
Great atmosphere, decor, and staff. Pizza toppings are nice but the dough is really bad- itβs both thin and floppy. For 25 dollars a pizza it should be better. Salad was nice though.

Food is great. chips are UNREAL the seasoning is actually so good itβs crazy please could I have the recipeβ¦ atmosphere is gorg, rustic, classic cafe ambience in a comforting, homely fashion. The lighting is also beautiful. Many textures and materials that just work so well. Love this place absolutely gorgeous. And Emerson bookbinderβ¦ how could it get better?
I had the stacked poached eggs with roasted tomato's and mushrooms. Dee-double-licious, as my mother would say. Decaf cappuccino, also d-double. I can readily recommend this place. The whole place is artsy. The upstairs comfy and well lit.
Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Should have got a second be as suggested by the waitress. Great food. Definitely a return visit next time Iβm in Dunedin. Also, the stairs! Amazing construction.

Wow, what a feast I had! Their Fries are cooked to a perfection crunch! The Aoli is delicious and the mocha was spectacular! I do recommend stopping in and trying Vogel St Kitchen for brunch! NB only rated 4 stars for Food as I prefer my Mochas a bit hotter than was served.
Over priced, gloomy atmosphere, average service. Iced drinks were overly sweet and Iβm certain the iced βmochaβ had no coffee in it. The wood fired sandwich was barely warm - look at the picture and tell me it had been in a wood fired oven. The pulled beef brisket was so salty and the only reason I ate it was because everything else was so atrocious I wasnβt going to let $80 go to waste.
Visiting from Canada and my daughter insisted we eat at Voguls. It was absolutely wonderful. The ambiance was refreshing and the food was so amazing. Fair prices, served quickly and tasted great.
Good food indeed. Soup of the day was done nicely but tasted a little too sweet for me. The good side is that the soup was gluten and dairy free. Eggs with smoked salmon and bacon were perfectly matched and we enjoyed the cozy vibes there. I also packed a coconut cake which was tasted amazing. Worth a try if you want a solid brunch.
