“We had a wonderful intermite gathering with friends and family there, the playground was a highlight for our little ones. It was a lovely day so was able to use the whole ground for garden games. The pool room offered hours of fun and Tracey and Garry went above and beyond to make sure we were all set and looked after. Honestly would recommend to any and everybody looking for the perfect space to relax with family and friends. Thanks SO so much for everything!”

“Echoing the sentiments of the other reviews, this experience was superb. The Kowhai site was beautiful, comfortable, and serene. Private, quiet, and wonderful view. The decor and styling was awesome, I loved their taste. They have thought of everything and you want for nothing during the stay. I highly recommend taking advantage of the catered DIY meal and grazing board. Don’t miss out reading up on the history of Clifton and the family- fascinating story! “We loved spending 4 nights at Wild Thyme! Our hosts were gracious and helpful, with Bruce picking us up at the ferry and delivering us back to the ferry at the end of our stay. We recommend spending a day touring wineries with Jules. It was also easy to walk into town from Wild Thyme, or catch at bus at the bottom of the hill. The bus took us to additional wineries!”

“Thanks to Jim & Lorraine we had a great three day stay in the delightful Rimu Room which was very comfortable. Jim does a great job cooking breakfast which is served in the top room over-looking the ocean. Hard to find a better B&B in NZ. Marion & Colin - Brisbane Australia.”

“The large cottage was lovely and very well appointed. Was not lacking any amenities. Our weather wasn’t that warm so didn’t get to sit outside. The king size bed was so comfortable! I enjoyed a bath (both nights) in the separate bathroom. The bathing products were awesome. The cottages are a bit out of the way but such a great coffee place down the road. So you need to drive a bit to restaurants and wineries which we didn’t mind. There are bikes available to rent onsite. Overall this was one of our favourite places we stayed while in NZ. We loved the country feel but the modern look. Annabel had left fresh eggs which we cooked up for breakfast one am. Lovely!”

Fantastic spot right next to the cafe and Diamond Harbour eatery, with easy access to the ferry and lots of walking tracks. Really loved being able to have our dog stay with us too. “Everything about this place is what we think "First-Class". The friendliness of the owners, the 110% cleanliness, the many little extras that have been built in to this amazing space is incredible. Plenty of sensor lighting to help with our late night arrival. The mats in the bathroom!!! - never seen this sort of thing previously but after a full night of dancing, to put our feet on these mats relieved the tired and sore spots - they are INCREDIBLE. Such a comfortable bed - we are very happy to have found Denchy's - thank you Linda & Selena - beautiful place to stay - real luxury for us - tho it's small, it's very adequate for our needs along with such a caring environment.”
