“Jervois Rd Wine Bar + Kitchen delivered an exceptional dining experience that exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, everything was flawless. We started with the lemon pepper calamari, which was perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection. The truffle fries were indulgent and had just the right amount of truffle aroma, making them impossible to resist. The wagyu beef sliders were a highlight – juicy, flavorful, and served with a delightful balance of textures. The mains were equally impressive. The wagyu brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with bold, rich flavors. The lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection, beautifully tender with a touch of smokiness. The goat cheese croquettes were a creamy, crispy delight that added a perfect complement to the meal. To top it all off, the pomegranate sour was a fantastic choice – expertly mixed, refreshing, and a great pairing for the food. Every dish was presented beautifully, and the flavors were nothing short of incredible. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere of the bar was cozy and inviting. “Urbanaut Brewery and Tap Room, a fantastic experience! As someone who appreciates good vegetarian/vegan options, was impressed with their offerings. It's not always easy to find a place that caters so well to plant- based diets. It's true that the food isn't fast food, so don't expect the a quick bite. The dishes are clearly made with care, and the flavors are amazing. The space itself is open and inviting, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, which really added to the positive vibe. And of course, for the beer lovers, this place is a must-visit. They have a great selection of brews, making it the perfect spot to try something new with some amazing food. I highly recommend Urbanaut!”

“Every time I go to Auckland, I make sure to visit Windross House. I’m always greeted with a smile and the service is fantastic. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. My favourites dishes are the classic mango chicken and garlic Prawns for entree. It’s a must visit when in Auckland!!”

“Breakfast meals were good. It’s a busy eatery so no real interaction with service just go in and be seated. You do need to go to the counter and order they are too busy to take table orders so don’t sit at your table waiting which I noticed a family do. Enjoyed the omelette and mango lassi. The menu has a lot of variety showcasing their Fijian meals. Servings and price was reasonable. Will go back to try their mains. Definitely try them out.”

“Decided to take my lunch at this lovely place when I visited Davenport, and I think I made the right choice. The Salmon on the toast I had was lovely, but a bit pricey tho. The great thing is that they also have gluten free and dairy free options available for those who have dietary restrictions. The staffs and the owner (a guy with that lovely dog?) were also nice and friendly. It was a lovely afternoon surely.”

“Good quality Katsu served with rice, salad and miso soup. The Katsu was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The sauce as creamy and sweet, which did complement it well. The portion size was great and left full. Easy parking outside and plenty of seats around inside. Staff were friendly and the service was quick.”

“My photo doesn’t do it justice. The Fries were HEAVENLY. The service was immaculate. Every 10 mins someone would come up and check if we were doing well. The atmosphere is lively. A bit loud sometimes, however, they have some wonderful little booths that are Christmas themed at the moment. The decor right now is so cute. We will be coming back!”

Had the ban ban chicken, miso eggplant, cabbage salad, sautéed broccolini and mushrooms, pork and vegetable dumplings and the tonkotsu shoyu ramen and everything was delicious, especially the dumplings, the ramen broth and the miso eggplant. “My favourite Malaysian restaurant in Auckland. We have tried so many different dishes from here across our various visits and they have always been delicious and also generous in portion sizes. My favourite dish here is the okra, eggplant and bean sambal but there are so many others too - the slow cooked pork belly with salted fish, butter floss fish, fried rice, honey soy chicken, the list goes on! The large tables upstairs are great for groups.”

“This is mine and my best friend’s absolute favourite restaurant. Not only is the food incredible (we have never had a bad meal), but the service is unmatched (especially Brad). We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve been here, but by our third visit they already remembered our drink orders and that we want a chicken liver parfait while we decide what we order. Everybody is made to feel at home here and the service is amended to the person you are. Make sure you save room for a pavlova at the end as it’s the most delicious desert you will ever have in your life. CIBO CIBO CIBO”

The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the pork belly was tender with great flavour. Portion sizes were generous, especially for the price. We were welcomed by the owner of the restaurant Ritesh and then we got help by the assistant manager Latika who suggested some mouthwatering dishes.
