Staying in the area from Tauranga and this place was recommended by our hosts. So glad we chose to try it out. Our meals were super tasty and fresh. Loved the pad Thai, tempura pumpkin and edamame. Service was great and can’t wait to come back to try more on our next trip to Auckland! Thank you.
I had such a great experience at Big Fish Stonefields! The soft shell crab was incredible. Perfectly crispy and full of flavour. The spiced salmon was absolutely delicious too. Honestly, every dish we tried was really good. The service was warm and friendly, and the whole place has such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be going back!

Super Delicious food, would rate it 11/10. The staff super friendly and we were taken care of very well rigjt from the moment we entered the Restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner of the restaurant Ritesh and then we got help by the assistant manager Latika who suggested some mouthwatering dishes. Sensational. We came here for a work lunch and it was perfect. Delicious food, some nice tea choices (great when you can't have a beer!). I loved the salmon salad - it was healthy and really hit the spot. We were 13 people and the kitchen had our meals out within 10 minutes - really impressed at how quick this was. Comfortable seats, helpful staff. Definitely would recommend it for groups.
We have been here a few times and my only challenge is what to eat - so many great options and the size of the portions is excellent. Nice to have a good local which is easy, cosy and super yum. Well done and see you soon as I eat my way through the menu :)
Big fish is used to be my favorite restaurant. Delicious with reasonable price. But I am very disappointed with my most recent order. I am fine with the increased price due to inflation, but at least you should keep the same quality. The size of California roll I received is unbelievable small. It is almost the half size compare with before. It cost $24 but it is even smaller than these $13 sushi you can buy in shopping center. It is just slightly bigger than a 50cent coin. I won't order from them anymore. I wouldn't recommend anyone to order there either.
Came in on the off chance the food would be good as I was simply hungry looking for a feed. The food was bloody amazing. I swear I had a mouthgasim. Seriously good food and excellent bang for buck.
Valentines night came out perfect with roses on each table. The food is amazingly delicious. Just look at their reviews. Lots of parking and pet / dog friendly. The staff are very friendly too. Good size serves too. You gota try it.
