Wee bit expensive for dumplings but we tried it anyway, ambiance was all good, but unnaturally edgy, place was clean enough, dumpings were ok (Can't top Eden Noodle's C4 pork and chives unfortunately), it would've been better with lesser outer layer and more filling, sauce was alright. Service was great though. Overall not the best however there may be other branches that might be better.

Sumthin Dumplin Botany is a must-try for anyone craving inventive dumplings. The vegan Monk dumpling stood out with its earthy tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and bok choy in a spinach wrap is nothing short of creative, while the Great White dumplings bring together chicken and a medley of white and shiitake mushrooms. This mix gives a gentle, mellow chicken taste that’s perfectly balanced by the savoury, slightly woodsy mushroom notes offered a perfectly balanced mix of chicken and mushrooms. The crispy chips with unique sauce were an unexpected highlight. Each dish delivered fresh, creative flavours—making this spot a refreshing upgrade from typical dumpling places. Great service and lots of parking.

Sumthin Dumpling Botany offers super tasty dumplings at a reasonable price. The decor was very warm and inviting and the service was pretty good. My only critique is that the fries were a little under seasoned , but other than that a must try !!

It’s closer to a 3.5-star rating than a full 4. The place offers some great options, and I tried the OG dumplings with chili oil. They were okay, but the dumplings had too much dough, and the filling didn’t quite justify the price. I’ll be back to try the cheese and beef dumplings next time.

Worst experience ever! The food here is shockingly bad and largely uneatable. I only finished eating 2 of the 6 dumplings I was served. I only tried a second one, in hope that it would be better, but ultimately, I had to spit it out because it left a bad taste in my mouth and I could no longer stomach the ghastly taste. I haven't been to a place where the food was so bad, that it made me angry! $14 for 6 dumplings, at that price, they need to be better. So I shook my head in disgust and stormed out, leaving the remainder of my meal uneaten. Life is too short to be spending time eating bad food... :(

Very tasty; loved the pork flavoured ones - but would be nice to have a steamed option. Very thick dumpling pastry is nice but very oily when deep fried especially with the chilli oil (which was really delicious but ironically said "may contain traces of peanuts" in the menu but in reality had whole peanuts in it! A bit more than a trace haha)

Amazed by the flavour combination. Loved every bite. Worth every dollar. Recommend to get any dumpling but with chilli oil

There's a nice little vibe going on in this place and the staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions of how to pair the dumplings with the sauces. The simplicity of the menu is a big plus for me. Enjoyed the food quite a bit.
