   A wonderful local Cafe with excellent coffee and cabinet food (nice scone). Very nice to have a cafe of such character locally with friendly service. Proper large coffee size and not weak because of it. Sat 1pm.

   Back again and just had to share the corn fritters are great here. Nice fresh salad topped with corn fritter, bacon with avocado. Right amount of sweet chilli sauce. Corn fritter nicely made right corn to batter ratio and the bacon in between with crispy bits on the ends. Will be back for these again. Have been frequenting this place for coffee and the occasional breakfast for a few weeks now. Was feeling hungry so stopped in for the eggs benedict and added 2 hash browns. Job done! Exactly what I was looking for. Set for the rest of the day now. Eggs cooked perfectly. Good helping of bacon all on toasted sour dough bread topped with bene sauce. Nothing to complain about here. I've also had the OT breakfast here and if you're hungry then thats a great option. Staff are always friendly. Always smiling and wanting to help. Cafe is an open area. Lovely in the summer and is still OK today tho it is wet outside. Happy to recommend this one to those that work, live or traveling in the area. I'll be back. Thanks Open Table

   If you're in the Michael's Ave area in Ellerslie this is a popular little cafe. Cornish pastie, carrot cake, mint slice all very tasty. The smoothie was icey though. ❄

   Can't fault the food, everything tasted good! This small roadside cafe is busy, but the food is served in a timely manner. Has lots of food for offer, with a range of cabinet choices. The only thing was the chalkboard menu with the menu items written sporadically around the board - cool to look at, but it's hard to read all the items!

   A somewhat hole in the wall cafe. The FOH persons seems like the owner and he's so enthusiastic in helping customers. So far, one of the best steak and cheese pies I've tasted in NZ. Good price too. The blueberry pancake though could be better. It was not light and fluffy, but a but heavy/dense and crumbles as you slice through it. But the whole plate was a hefty serving so quantity wise it was good. Caramel slice was sublime.
