   I held my partners 50th in The Bank, a space just off Pocket Bar and I couldn’t fault our experience. The space is incredibly chic but rustic, we needed very few decorations and the lighting was perfect. The staff were extremely onto it, courteous and helpful, a huge thanks to them. We had so many friends mention what an amazing evening it was and I feel like it had a lot to do with the venue and the staff. I would highly recommend this space as a venue for anyone. Thank you for a seamless and memorable evening.

   Had my daughter’s first birthday party here. John the manager is so easy to communicate with and always replied to my emails within a timely manner. I love that they allow you to cater for your own food. The staff were just lovely on the day! Highly recommend this venue

   We booked The Bank for our winter wedding venue - John and the Pocket Bar & Kitchen staff were incredible and made the day run smoothly and without any drama. The food was delicious, everyone was well-fed and happy. The drinks flowed very easily, the dance floor was full all night long and the vibes were 10/10. John and the staff were a well-oiled machine, serving our 80 guests all afternoon/night and everything went so fab. We would highly recommend the space to anyone looking for a central Auckland venue for a special event. A really cool venue space, that was equal parts rustic and relaxed, with intimate and magical.

   The first guy with the long hair and beard that served me super nice and friendly :) Towards my last order of drinks (a younger guy served me) wasn't allowed to be served shots because we were all to intoxicated (yes some of us were drunk but no one was fighting/arguing/falling over) but asked for Cc on the rocks ......literally is a shot with ice which didn't make sense . And if we were all intoxicated shouldn't you cut the tab from all alcohol?

   We recently booked the event space "The Bank" at Pocket Bar for my milestone birthday party. The space was just perfect! A cool old brick bank, with a high ceiling! We were able to set up early, fairy lights and a sound system already set up, ready to plug in my playlist! The finger food platters were really delicious! Taylor, our barman for the night was awesome, so friendly and engaging. We all had a great night! Thank you to John and Lawrence for making my night go without a hitch! When nerves are running high, the team at Pocket Bar make you feel that you are in very experienced hands! Fantastic!

   Quiet restaurant. Waiter was friendly. However, fish weren't fresh, strong smells with small bits of fish scales still on it. Pointed it out to chef who couldn't care less.
