“Great selection and service. Don’t be put off if it looks quiet. It not on my usual routes, but just as good as it was a year ago.”
“Food was delicious and a very good portion for the price. The owners are lovely and the overall experience was very relaxing.”
“This shop has allowed me to settle permanently in NZ. When I'm homesick or just craving a taste of UK, they always have what I need. It's far cheaper and easier to pop to Browns Bay than buy a plane ticket back to the UK! The range of special items is amazing, and lovely personal service where they make an effort to help you find what you want. Real service, it's awesome. Thanks so much!”
“The most well stocked store i’ve been to.”
“Incredible little bottle shop with an amazing selection of beers, wines and spirits from nz and around the world. You can tell these guys really care about their product and presentation. They find really interesting and great items at all price points from very affordable to really premium items. It feels really exciting and makes you want to try some of the suggestions and specials. Great work! Wish I had a similar bottle shop near my home in melbourne.”
“My regular, been picking up prescriptions for years now. Great service and prompt. Johnny the pharmacist is fantastic at his job and the other staff (presumably owners/managers) are also friendly and helpful. They're open on Saturdays, too.”
“Service & Food is amazing. Fair price and portion. Looking forward to having a go again”
“My 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Drawing & Sketching class (Tue 3:45-5:15) with Maree. Learning to depict objects with pencil sketching added a technical dimension to her artistic skills. It was a great class for a 9-year-old who loves drawing, providing more advanced content rather than simplistic children's drawings. This class is highly recommended for kids who love drawing and want to boost their skills.”
“Great cafe. Probably the best date scone I’ve had in NZ (and I’ve had way more than my fair share). Good coffee and cinnamon brioche too. Friendly service. Nice environment with seating inside and outside.”
“Father’s Day 2025 celebration was had here, the place was bustling with diners enjoying themselves with food and drinks served by wonderful wait staff, prices are reasonable and quantity is satisfying as is the presentation and taste. We had a small wait which was acceptable, due to the number of happy clients! I would wholeheartedly recommend Cafe Lincoln for a nice friendly experience! Arthur C. Charlton west Auckland NZ”
“My family and I loved this farm. The animals and the tractor ride. The best part was the peacock. So beautiful and fun feeding the lamas. Absolutely coming back again!”
“Steak & chips was interesting to had - love it! Love the menu and atmosphere, ordered brown butter coffee (not my regular) as was curious about it, taste great! 5-star for me definitely recommended!”
“Yummy drinks and great customer service! Recommend the Cold Brew Martini and the Sunshine Spritz if you are feeling fruity.”
“Bar Celeste has become a bit of a K Rd institution. Food excellent - contemporary European, fabulous wine and attentive service.”
“Food was incredible. Came here for my partners birthday at lunch time very quiet and Food was delicious had kufta and lamb kebab with bread and wow the garlic sauce that came with the kebab was amazing never had anything like it! Bread was great meat was so succulent. The kufta sauce was delicious and the meatballs were succulent and I wish I could have eaten it all but I was so full! Thank you for this amazing food”
“Had an amazing breakfast here. The London fog latte was a little too sweet for me, but it was very delicious. The salmon bagel had an amazing portion of lox - it was very filling! Great atmosphere.”
“Without a shadow of a doubt, my all time favourite grog store - and believe me, I've definitely been in some enticing alcohol related retail situatiuons over the years.. Best staff you could wish for. Personally, I've always been impressed with how the main players can both ease you through the checkout phase with that masterful, ritual-style phrasing... Or match your enthusiasm for the moment with sharp banter that's likely of higher quality than what will be present at the event you are heading to directly after.. As a long-time patron, I tip my hat to this Kingsland institution of excellence. Five well-earned stars, and I put that on google reviews homie.........”
“literally the cutest cafe i have ever been to in my LIFE the shaved ice is like unbelievably delicious and everything else looks so good too the staff are kind, friendly and welcoming i 100% recommend you come here !”
“Always wanted to learn Spanish and live in a spanish speaking country for a while. Still learning. It takes a lot of time for me to acquire a new language but I do a lot of self study too, like reading books, watching videos, listening to music. It is good to attend a school when you can be among other people who learn the same language.”
“Cozy little spot for a serving of big flavor! Probably one of the messiest bagel breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever eaten but it was too good to care or want to set down. The staff were all very friendly despite being very busy and working hard! Highly recommend.”
“Just picked up two pizzas. Great taste, Way more nicer flavours than dominos. Sadly not much business going on. i would like to suggest trying to hand out vouchers to nearby neighbourhood and put a sign side way on top of the door. when driving pass, couldn't really see this is a pizza place. other than that, i would recommend to others. Thanks”
“"An exceptional experience from start to finish. The environment is beautifully maintained, with warm and professional staff who made us feel truly welcomed. Onsite amenities such as clean restroom facilities and generous rear parking add to the convenience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable visit."”
“Definitely my favourite place for glazed donuts! The plain Jane is the best classic! I always eat it before I can take a photo of them:) definitely recommend:))”
“One of the best stores to get your drinks from in Auckland. I really recommend the newmarket branch (not saying the others are not good) the staff here were very friendly and helpful through the phone and in person so for me it's a 10/10. Recommended to all!”
“The best sandwiches, coffee, carrot cake, and soup you'll ever have. Adam and Ray are the best hosts. The value is completely unmatched.”
“Great place to get what you need for home projects. Everything was so clean and tidy, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was a bit undecided on the carrot snacks for horses and if they would be okay for my dog. Well, she absolutely loves them and they are made with real ingredients, no 'nasties'. :) If she starts to 'neigh' I might have to rethink my treats :)”
“Zeki's has added new wraps (falafel, chicken, or lamb) that are larger and made fresh to order, and they are awesome! As usual, the owner is super friendly and the food and coffee are top notch. Will definitely return over and over.”
“Nice little store. Friendly staff are always willing to help. The price is not bad compared with how far it is from everything else. You find from fishing baits to the same things you find on a conventional dairy.”
“Wonderful local Whangaparaoa shop. The selection of cheese, licorice and now chocolate is very impressive. We love visiting this shop often to buy our cheese and chat with friendly stuff.”
“We came here from the Google reviews and we were not disappointed! Great value tasty breakfast and lovely service in a modern clean cafe.”
