It's fine.... Good standard price on chips and fritters etc. A sausage a massive overcharge ($4.50) compared to other places. Overall good humble fish and chip shop.
Just ate here this afternoon after stumbling across the place, hoping for some nice fish and chips. Unfortunately, the experience was mixed. The service was lacklustre — the lady at the counter wasn’t very welcoming, although the guy working there was pleasant and polite. The food overall was disappointing. The batter on the fish was undercooked (rubbery and doughy), and the chips were below average — possibly due to the oil not being cooked through properly. The saving grace, however, was the calamari rings, which were delicious. I also forgot to mention that my tartare sauce was missing from the order. I’m sharing this review not to put down your business but to provide honest feedback in hopes it helps improve what you’re offering and that customers are aware of what they’re buying when they eat here.
I drive in from Linwood for these fish and chips! ✅fresh fish cooked perfectly ✅ crinkle cut chips with a balance between soft and crunchy ✅ amazing huge burgers ✅tasty hotdogs ✅close to the beach! Yes please. Will forever be raving about them. Definitely worth a visit

The best fish (blue cod) and chups in Christchurch! Very nice butter - crisp and not much of the smudgy stuff under the crust. Very quick service! They had a wide range of fresh fish when the red snapper across the road had only most basic rig fish on the menue and those guys were taking their sweet time to deliver... Will come back again when in Sumner!
