“THE BEST PIZZA HUT GOOD DEALS 40 DOLLARS GOT ME 10 PIZZAS I RECOMMEND”
“Good place to dine or takeout. I prefer takeout cause I live close good for the community surrounding them”
“Great spot for breakfast. Small or large you won’t be disappointed. We had poached eggs on toast. They even had gluten free toast. Coffee is excellent.”
“I had a flat white and French toast there this morning, and both were amazing! The staff were super friendly, and the flat white was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend this spot!”
“We got dumplings and beef noodle soup. The food was delicious. It is a small space with a few small tables, one table with 4 chairs and 3 tables with 2 chairs so not good for large groups or a big family to dinner in.”
“Hands down our favourite local takeaways. The quality of food is brilliant (burgers are my favourite) and the staff are lovely. They are really busy on Fridays at peak times (because it’s so good) but staff are always super friendly and helpful. We make sure to order around 5pm on a Friday for shorter wait times. We’d prefer to enjoy dinner from an owner-operator place like PL rather than a chain restaurant any day!”
“Wow what a delightful experience. Food was outstanding. Would love to see the outside setting in daylight, as looked amazing. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.”
“Really enjoyed this aromatic meal. Service was attentive friendly and helpful, we were made recommendations regarding what to order we and when to eat them. The food was fresh, flavorful and tasty. I had the lamb saag, which was rich thick and tasty, not overly salty as sp e can be. Highly recommend this local delight!!”
“I want to know when the pizza arrives! It's so delicious that I wish I could eat it anytime. The atmosphere is nice, friendly, and especially the outdoor seating is great.”
“Ali is amazing and cooks with his heart and soul. All I can say is these are the BEST Kebabs and Shish Kebabs I've had in Auckland, made with so much love and served with a smile always. The quantity of meat in the kebabs is great too, true value for money, not like the ones with the sauces you normally get. Worth a try if you haven't already and you will be surprised :D Thanks again Ali :)”
“One of our favourite go to spots. Great food and customer service. I ordered their mix on salad 10/10”
“You may have a slight wait, because food is always fresh, nothing is reheated and fish raw and sashimi are not carried over. Staff are so warm, you just want to be there! 100% recommend eating here. Everything is good!”
“Fantastic cuisine, competitive pricing, and generous servings. The staff is very friendly and always pleasant.”
“Bit of a hidden gem…wood fired pizzas!! Nicely cooked pizza. Chicken salad delicious. Big servings for decent price! And across the road from Sky City Hotel”
“Great wee spot, I have been coming since they opened. Rebecca is a sweetheart and makes super coffee.. she's super kind and friendly. You can park right at the door and dogs are welcome. Mix of traditional brunch options lunch, great pies quality ingredients.. they used to do the food at The Fridge in Kingsland. Laksa superb Nasi Goreng... on point Satay and roti great... I have tried most of their Malaysian stuff.. and i am back regularly. I bought home a great carrot cake today. They do very nice salads and counter food... and a slap up english breakfast and eggs Benedict. You can see they have super reviews... and are highly regarded by Auckland foodies in the know.”
“Best curry around Devonport, I've enjoyed every dish I've tried from here (give the street food a go!). I highly recommend the Lamb Korma and Chicken Methi Malai.”
“Great evening enjoying very delicious food. Friendly helpful host and warm ambience. Will dine there again.”
“Enjoy music, meeting locals And craft beers”
“It is a cozy restaurant with lovely staffs and I had very nice lunch time there. The pizza made from daily fresh dough,so it had an elastic、 crispy and tender crust, aromatic toppings. They use their original in-house sauce with rich taste. These are completely different from pre-finished meals which are served in other restaurants. Meatballs、BBQ Bacon pizza and Risotto di Pollo are amazed me,if you come here you should try them.”
“We got takeaways the first time the other night. The food was great and the service lovely. Love that they have an open kitchen. Also awesome to see their non plastic packaging!!”
“Hot Nash Burger combo was absolutely bangin'! Perfect crunch and season on the chips. Nice level of spice, crispy, juicy chicken, lightly toasted bun with coleslaw the master stroke was the dill cream cheese sauce.”
“Love this place! Such good value which is rare these days and the food is great!!. If you are after value and good food head to Uber they always have buy one get one free . If you don’t order from here you are only cheating yourself.”
“If you haven’t tried it yet, you have to. Whether you love indian food, or you haven’t tried yet, this is a must restaurant to go. The food is amazing with fresh ingredients, cooked on the spot and portions are above generous. I love indian food and this one of the best indian restaurants I’ve been to i a very long time. Also the atmosphere is nice, calm with a super friendly staff. Thank you!”
“I recently visited Extra Extracafe and was genuinely impressed. The coffee was rich and flavorful, brewed to perfection, and the food was equally delightful—fresh, well-prepared, and full of taste. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. A great spot for both a quick coffee break and a relaxed meal. Highly recommended!”
“Big shout out to the great staff (especially Jordan) at Havana Coffee Works for helping me find a new filter and seal for my extremely ancient (but very good) stove-top espresso machine. Thanks for all the suggestions - I did finally find the right sized seal and am enjoying my morning coffee again. We've been getting our coffee on subscription from Havana since 2020 and the service is brilliant. Thanks!”
“Best prices in the city. Great range of products”
“All gluten free menu! I can’t believe I’ve only just found out about this cute little café! Their menu is entirely gluten free, which is so nice! I grabbed a muffin and it was yummy. Will def go back.”
“Staff have great knowledge. Cheeses are amazing. Good range. Great quality and prices are NOT outrageous. Nice feature on Jackson Street.”
“Lovely place for date night !! We did the "first table" deal and worked great for us. We tried quite a few items of the menu and had great savings. I would absolutely recommend the fish crudo, the Rib eye and the truffle gnocchi. I know is a meat restaurant, but let me say the gnocchi was one of the best I've had; the onion soubise was espectacular, airy and tasty. In general the sides were ok, Caesar salad was good AND the puré as well, would probably not order the mushrooms again. Desserts were good, specially the tiramisú. Would've appreciated a chocolate option as well... The service by the two french ladies was perfect! Attentive and professional. Would recommend !”
“With all the over-cluttered trimmings and loud bargaining customers of an entrepreneurial Greek Trader’s, A Taste of Greece comes with the authenticity of a loving Greek mother that will tell you to indulge in the lemon cream Bougatsa pastry. Though a little space, A Taste of Greece offers every facet of the Greek experience you could want, from over-stuffed shelves filled with olive oils by the litre, sardines, fine salts, and classic Hellenic confectionery to cabinet food offering five types of feta, the biggest baklava slices you’ve seen, and savoury delicacies you wish your own mother could cook. Stay in for the Greek Burger or Halloumi Salad, both are very reasonably priced and simply delivered. A good takeaway menu means you don’t have to contend for one of the five little tables, though be aware that this place serves Greek souvlaki, not the mis-labelled souvlaki Christchurch residents are so adamant about. Go here to feel all the warmth of a big Greek family, and enjoy the moments between delicious bites where you ponder buying an ornament Greek Orthodox cross or quoting My Big Fat Greek Wedding.”
