Absolutely delicious food, thank you Honk Kong Date! Ordered our usual 3 dishes and were so happy. Food was light and fresh, prawns expertly cooked and sauces not sickeningly sticky. Will be our regular Cambridge takeout now we have discovered you!
Family owned ,Excellent service and food, not huge portions but made with love, small restaurant and very clean. Beef haw fun are delicious. Will be back for more
Ordered takeaway for dinner and was very pleased we tried here! The honey chicken was soo good, chicken was juicy and tender, lightly battered and the honey was light and tasty. Scallion pancakes were nice and light and everything was packaged really nicely. Was plenty for two adults and a toddler. The best Chinese in Cambridge for sure!
Our go to place for Cantonese cuisine in Cambridge. It reminds us of HK Highly recommend the Peking duck, Hainanese chicken, crispy pork belly, and sweet and sour pork.
After visiting Blue Springs from Auckland, we enjoyed a great late lunch at Hong Kong Date. We ordered the half Peking duck, Honey chicken, bbq pork with roasted pork belly and tofu with mushrooms. They are all tasty. The service was so good. We will come again next time when we travel to Cambridge.
Cute place. Yummy food. Wonton noodle soup for the hangover or cold day...hell get the two meat platter with dumplings on the side and then wash it down with a big bottle Tsingtao and add on some Mochi. Great ambience, authentic and kids definitely say to do again.
Great experience. Friendly service. The Duck on Rice soup was great - flavorful and tasty. We'd love to visit again.
First time and didn't disappoint. There's no other restaurant like this in Cambridge and having traveled a lot through Asia love this style of food. No nore trips to Hamilton. Good quality food with enough variety to please the family. Only feedback is to create a bit more atmosphere with some soft music.
Not very much of a fan of spicy food but enjoyed the meal very much. Thanks for the delicious dinner!
