“Good restaurant but one of the chefs has become the manager and he needs to get everything up to scratch. Menu prices aren't accurate, it's $20 for most vegetarian mains. If there's any trouble with the phone or online orders then I recommend to simply visit. They are open most days but not on Monday and not on Sunday for lunch (should be open on Sunday for dinner though)”

“My wife and I are visiting New Zealand from the States on our honeymoon and chose this place for dinner following recommendations we found on Reddit. We ordered the “Trust the Chef” prix fixe option with some mocktails and were absolutely floored by how good it was. We ended up with eight courses: prawn toast, pork wonton, mouthwatering chicken, a xiaolongbao and shumai each, crispy roasted duck in curry, stir fried oyster mushrooms, green beans in XO sauce and tiramisu for dessert. Every course was absolutely delicious, and I particularly loved the prawn toast and the roast duck. The portion sizes were also massive- we ended up with two takeaway boxes and could probably have saved more if we paced ourselves properly. Midnight Shanghai showed us a spectacular meal and I hope to visit them again someday!”

“We came to the Christchurch airport Bunnings store after having abysmal service (ie none) at the Tower Junction store. The service at the airport branch was really good, very helpful and attentive and we were able to find everything we needed. After purchasing a number of very large items for our outdoor lounge furniture, a young man helped my husband load the items onto the roof of our car and stayed to check everything was ok. We were impressed with the service here and would choose this store over others which are closer to us.”

“Nice Club this one. Stopped here for lunch and was served up a great meal at very generous prices. They have all the facilities with pool and snooker plus a great gaming room. Just note it is a chartered club so you need to be signed in by a member or an affiliate from another club. Car parking is out front with HWMC on each park. “Right near the airport, this place offers great coffee, amazing food, a great selection of cabinet food, and (perhaps the best part) a cozy fireplace to curl up near.
