Met to catch up with family. Had pram and toddler. Staff made us feel welcome and were friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. Have outdoor seating area as well.

These guys consistently present lovely food and the staff are thoroughly professional and friendly. If you want to enjoy a well run cafe then this is an excellent example the owners are very lucky to have such good staff

Quite loud in main area when eating. Managed to find a quiet spot at front. Food great, a nice smiling staff member who made up for another non smiling staff. Never liked the set up at counter when ordering. Needs a better system.

We were used to going to this place right after the COVID lockdown and it was a nice experience. Our last visit (Monday May 12, 2025) disappointed us so much that we will NEVER go back again until there is a big change in the kitchen and the staff. The two hot chocolates we ordered were ok but it took them more than half an hour to make them. And the order from the food cabinet, a sort of a quiche, was average but edible, the eggs bene was a real catastrophe. Old bread eggs barely cooked with a hollandaise sauce out of a jar. Extremely disappointing. And the service was inexistent. The staff didn't seem to care about customers ... Bye Meschino, you'll never see us again ...

Food was disappointingly more like bacon and eggs on slightly-toasted bread, than eggs Benedict. No spinach which is a key ingredient, toasted bread was soggy and the hollandaise tasted more like a butter sauce, leaving a lot to be desired. Counter service was friendly although somewhat slow. Definitely not worth the $31.40 NZD paid for small soy-milk latte and ‘eggs benedict’.

Super cute spot with yummy food and drinks. The barista even fixed my drink when I asked for more chai. She gave great recommendations for our roadtrip around NZ and was very friendly and sweet!

I went there yesterday at 10am with 9 people. The food was nice and the service was great. It was so noisy and echoing, we could hardly hear each other so we didn't stay too long. I wouldn't go back again NOT with a big group but just with 2 or 3 people. I didn't like the fact that they charge $1.50 extra for soya, almond or oat milk. I had my tea black. Other cafes do not charge this much.

Staff standing chatting, no one clearing tables or checking on customers food or asking if customers wanted to order additional drinks or food. My wine glass was badly dishwasher stained and look unappealing. Food was good and portions were good too. Won't go back though as the service was awful.

One of our favourites. Coffee is always good, and service friendly and efficient. The food never disappoints. We love being able to sit outside with the dog. Whenever we need 'time out' from life it's our 'go-to'. It's relaxing and kinda comforting as well

Came to Christchurch this weekend and found this little gem of a cafe! Great coffee and great cabinet food. Stoked with a 6.30am opening on a Saturday morning, perfect for an early bird like me. Go check it out ✔️
