“Our 2 year old daughter started here 3 months ago and we are absolutely thrilled with this centre. It’s a wonderful, big, happy and exciting environment for the kids while also being surprisingly calm, and the teachers are truly wonderful. They have all been so kind and caring and have really helped to ease the transition for our daughter who has been nervous about starting kindy. You can tell that they are all truly caring and wonderful teachers. The centre also has a great routine with the kids and is well managed and privately owned which I think is a big benefit. “After visiting many centres, including some way closer to home, I can fully vouch for New Shoots Greenhithe. Everything is welcoming there: the teachers, the staff and the space. It is open, peaceful, full of light and surrounded by nature. I felt very supported on the early weeks where everything was new. Now, after 6 months, I can confidently say that NSGH was the best decision we could have made. I am amazed to see how my daughter is thriving, learning new things everyday, having fun no matter the weather outside. I can feel in our daily interactions how much the teachers and other staff care for her and she also shows she loves to be there by happily talking about them all the time. “I'm a parent of two children (11 y.o. and 4 y.o.), and both of them have attended this childcare. Honestly, I can’t praise the team enough for the incredible work they do with the kids. This year, many children moved on to school, and it was so heartwarming to see whole teams of teachers attending 5th birthday parties to celebrate and show their support. That says so much about the strong relationships they build. The teaching team has remained consistent over the years. When my younger child started, I already knew everyone—which gave me a great sense of trust. More importantly, the team works well together, they are genuinely happy in their roles, and they clearly love what they do. That joy and commitment reflect in how much they achieve with the children. I absolutely recommend this place. You can trust them with your little ones. Even if the building doesn’t look the flashiest from the outside, inside it’s full of love, care, and real focus on the wellbeing of both children and staff.”

“I love the genuine passion and care the staff have for the kids. My little one at 9 months old had no trouble settling in, she is absolutely thriving there. I love the kind and positive staff, who create such a warm, caring and safe environment, the care and attention she is given, small teacher to child ratios, the fun stimulating activities including lots of messy play and the photos/ learning books they update regularly, the awesome food they provide. “The best teaching team! All the kaiako here at Country Kids are warm, welcoming, supportive and amazing. Initially, I wanted to find a centre close home but decided that a 30 minute commute was well worth it. Our whānau have been here since June, and I’m so happy with how my daughter is going. My son, when old enough, will definitely be going here too. He loves Country Kids and so do we!”

“My daughter started Love and Joy a week after she turned one. She is 19 months now.We can see how much her language has developed over the last few months. She can speak so well and clearly although we are bilingual. She sings most of the rhymes with actions. She has become independent sleeping , eating and also can solo play if needed. She is very social and interactive with people she meets. We have also noticed that she cleans up after play and puts things back in her place. Thanks to Lee and her team of amazing, caring and nurturing teachers. They make sure that the child has eaten, slept and well looked after. Also, my son who is now in school went to Love and Joy . Excellent day care. Highly recommend!”

“A preschool cannot be missed! My daughter started at Smart Start since she was three. We absolutely loved here. A huge thank you to the lovely teachers Sarah, Sophie, Anne and Jenny, for all the effort over the past two years. The amount of attention, care and love they’ve given Fay is massive and unforgettable❤️ One of the good things I love about Montessori is everyday children get the chance to sit down properly and focus on their little task, which is great for developing their attention sense. Having time to free play, to focus and to do circle time, this gives them a great habit of getting ready for school. We love this center and will highly recommend Smart Start to friends around us. “Just Kidz have been such a friendly and welcoming daycare for my daughter. She has been there for over a year now and loves it. The teachers put in so much effort with all the activites they put on for the kids to help them grow and learn. You also feel like they care so much for each child and really take the time to get to know each kid and what they like/dislike. Would highly recommend Just Kidz to any parents”

“This centre truly deserves more than just 5 stars. Phoebe and her incredible team are amazing with the kids. I have a non-verbal 4-year-old daughter, and since she started here, she has become so much more vocal! She even puts her own shoes away at home and washes her hands with soap. My autistic child used to struggle with following instructions, but since joining BSMC last year, she's made tremendous progress. Believe me when I say, I tried nearly 10 different centres before finding this one. From the moment I walked in, I felt something different, and I knew this was the right place for my girl. The staff are so patient and understanding with her. She absolutely loves going to daycare and always says "excited" when I drop her off. They make her feel safe and loved, and as a parent, what more could you ask for?”

“Our family loves Red Kite Preschool, we make the daily effort to travel 30minutes in traffic each day because the staff are so welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. We love that they have male teachers as role models, and that some of the teachers speak Mandarin & Cantonese to our children who are of Chinese decent. We did not hesitate to send our 2nd child into the baby room, as we know that the she is cared for with lots of love and adoration ”

“We have our son (4y) and daughter (1.5y) at BestStart Remuera road. I really feel like we hit the jackpot with this daycare. There is a real focus on our daughter's development in the baby room. They really care about her and she loves going everyday. I have noticed her recently excelling in her speech and even has started identifying colours. I was so nervous at first as it took her a while to settle – the staff were calm and reassured me of what is normal and I'm glad to now see her toddle in willingly! In the 2y and over room it's mixed ages like that of Kindergarten and they have started a "school ready" program for the 4y+ preschoolers. I feel like my own IQ has been bolstered by what my son has learnt over the past few months. He knows so much about the solar system and has started writing his name. The expertise the teachers here bring is definitely more than I ever hoped for. More than happy with Remuera Road!”

“Mina's a truly exceptional piano teacher. Her ability to connect with young children is remarkable. When my son, Alex, first started lessons at age 5, Mina's patience and understanding made learning fun. She's always encouraging, pushing him to reach his full potential while considering his age and developmental stage. I appreciate how Mina prepares concerts twice a year. These performances provide invaluable stage experience, helping Alex build confidence and overcome any performance anxiety. Her ability to tailor the lessons to Alex's interests is a huge plus. By incorporating pieces he enjoys, she's fostered a genuine love of music and playing the piano. I wholeheartedly recommend Mina as a piano teacher. Not only has she taught Alex piano skills, but she's also helped him grow as a person. Her dedication, expertise, and caring nature make her an outstanding instructor.”
