“A wonderful place for children to learn”
“Very thankful for your great assistance and warm understanding of parents' feelings indeed. I have recommended my friend to contact to you too. Thanks again.”
“Our Son, Cohen is 11 and for over 3years now Georgi (Debrov) has helped with his technique and style, which has also helped increase his stage confidence. Cohen already had natural ability, having been playing since he was 3 however Georgi has been able to help him learn different genres especially Jazz. Georgi is a very cool music teacher and so kind & patient with his approach - Cohen really looks forward to his weekly drum sessions and understands the importance of reading his music sheets (it really is another language) Thank you so much Georgi!”
“The Island Bay Marine Education Centre, also known as "The Bait House", is an interactive marine experience based in Island Bay on Wellington's south coast. As well as there being lots of different sea creatures on display (including a couple of octupuses, sea horses, crayfish, turtles, a grumpy blue cod to name a few) you can also handle starfish, sea cucumbers, sea anemones, crabs and other sea life found un the touch pools. There is far more inside than you would expect from the outside and the volunteers whi wirk there are very friendly and helpful. It is really reasonably priced ($5 for adults, $2 per child) and we were all entertained for ages. Really good fun and educational too. Definitely worth checking out with the family.”
“I completed the full-time Social Media Marketing Diploma with NZIE and landed a freelance job halfway into the course. This was my next step straight after finishing high school. I knew social media was something worth investing in, since: 1. it can become a hybrid/remote work once I get that good 2. it's a growing industry that I believe will not be going away anytime soon. This course is easily digestible for beginners. I thought social media was just about taking videos/photos, aimlessly posting them with a creative caption, hoping to get likes/comments/shares. But after taking this course, we took a deep dive on the basics; creating content strategically, knowing/creating a businesses' buyer persona, design principles that psychologically make your posts stand out, beginner friendly video editing classes using industry level apps, uncover AI tools that make your life so much easier and you get to do all this with super cool teachers who are passionate about their areas of expertise in Marketing! I would recommend this to beginners who are wanting a solid knowledge base of what it takes to be a Social Media manager (bc unfortunately it goes beyond that just "posting pretty pics"). I did this Full time course alongside Part Time Work (25hrs/wk). It's doable only if you're serious about going into the Digital Marketing Space. And it helps if you have an eye for design/detail but you're definitely still welcome if you don't think you do. They helped me develop my design skills too! I do not regret going with NZIE and I've also made some fantastic connections with the students and teachers too! They're such a cool bunch of skilled people who have YEARS of experience in their field. So, you'll be taught by industry experts in a simple and engaging way. Now, I work as a social media manager and designer for a local sushi company! NZIE gave me the basics on how to sustain myself in this position and to thrive. I have successfully helped this sushi company get more than 150 followers on FB after creating a campaign plan with NZIE and posting 1 reel that is now at 6K views, 130 reactions, 50+ comments and 12 shares. You'll learn so much, but only if you come to each class like a sponge, ready to learn as much as you can. NZIE has helped me out and I encourage you to highly consider them, if you're thinking about going into the D.Marketing space.”
“I had a good experience with Wesley Institute of nursing. All the CNE's were really helpful to achieve sucess especially Stacey Ross Duncan.”
“Very good collage with good learning environment.”
“My son joined this kindergarten just last month, and I can already see a huge difference in him. He has become more independent and now enjoys doing things by himself. One of the best parts about this kindergarten is how much they encourage outdoor play, which my son absolutely loves. They also focus on teaching kids daily life skills, which is something I really appreciate. I’m confident that over time my son will continue to learn, grow, and channel his energy in the best possible way here. I also love that the kindergarten takes children on different outings, giving them the chance to explore nature while staying active and healthy. I’m very happy with the progress I see in my son and feel grateful for such a caring and thoughtful environment. Highly recommended!”
“Very good location in the east area as an education centre. Support the community for children of after-school education. Love all the handwork by children.”
“A great environment for our three children. Lovely staff.”
“I am learning so much in mathematics, the system and organisation of the entire thing is excellent. The teachers are qualified in what they do and honestly, make math fun. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone.”
“We’ve had our two sons through Minimee between the ages of almost 2 and almost 5 over a 3 year period. Monisha is phenomenal in her approach to keeping the tamariki safe, grounded and happy. She somehow seamlessly moves between the role of Centre Manager (owner/operator) and full time furniture for the little ones to snuggle into. The wider Minimee team are an all star cast of talent and genuine care for the kids, while also encouraged to be themselves and connect with the kids in different ways. Impromptu face painting and hair styling with energetic educators was always a favourite. Having an In-house chef (but not anyone… having Angoma!) is a wonderful addition to ensure that the kids are fed, but also that they are exposed to different foods outside the home/family routines at early ages. We particularly adore the Minimee meal time rituals and it is handy not to have to make lunchboxes each day. But having Angoma in the kitchen, interacting with the tamariki, sometimes collaborating on meals, and talking to them about Kai, is just fabulous for everyone involved. Overall there is a great balance between policy and individual care and planning for each child and each whanau. We’ve moved on now, but Minimee is a very special place and I can’t recommend enough - hence the gushing review.”
“Teacher Meng is very dedicated to teaching Chinese. Before, the children were always bored when they were learning Chinese in other places, but now they are happy to learn with Teacher Meng and can recognize more words.”
“Both my daughters attended children's ark full time. One is at school already and one is going to school next year. I am very grateful my girls attended here as they have a truly fabulous team. The teachers are very caring and lovely and they form very good relationships with the parents which is super important. Would always highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you children's ark staff for all the hard work you all do :-)”
“Not only kids like it. Excellent staff”
