“I have started studying this year with Te Rito Maioha, I am loving the support from the lecturers and the content of the course.”
“We had such a great day on this from our ship. Yosh was so interesting on local bird life etc. We had a good visit to the albatross centre. Saw chicks and also albatross. Nice picnic lunch on the hoof, and off to seals and penguins. We may also have been lucky as we also saw at least 5 albatrosses out on the sea. Spectacular scenery, superb guide, a bit lucky with the weather. Nice quick spin round Dunedin, including the station and steepest road in the world. Probably my wife’s best day of our holiday, definitely the best of our cruise. Many many thanks.”
“A great and beautiful uni, where our girls get their quality education for their profession.”
“Had Bianca cover the sale of our property. An outstanding job with amazing communication and efficiency - a complete turn around from our previous experience with another well known Dunedin firm. Would highly recommend using Bianca’s service.”
“I was a member of the HYD studio for a few years, before I recently had to move away. I have trialled multiple gyms and studios across the North and South Island within these years, and particularly now since moving. I truly have not found a place that comes somewhat CLOSE to the level of expertise and community felt at HYD. Donna is truly amazing, so unbelievably talented and is an incredibly insightful teacher. Both Mandi and Adrianne’s pilates and mat pilates classes are filled with such high level of detail and execution you would think they have been training this their entire life. If you are looking for yoga, Jess, who teaches hot flow, has a gentle and supporting nature. You will always feel welcome in her class. Cannot recommend this studio enough. These women are absolutely incredible. Much love to the team and practitioners at the studio, I can’t wait to be back. X”
“Lovely our daughter had a great first year, we felt she was well looked after, it has great facitilities, in hall activities and staff.”
“Soma yoga is an essential ingredient in my recipe for wellbeing . Always something new to make each class unique . Gentle yoga and relaxation unlocks the body and I always have an excellent sleep. Jasmin thank you for guiding us in our practice with grace and devotion.”
“After years of wanting to dive, I finally enrolled in an Open Water course at Dive Otago. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel comfortable in the water from the start. The lessons were well-structured and informative. I enjoyed it so much I very quickly also enrolled in the Advanced Course here. I highly recommend Dive Otago to anyone looking to start scuba diving!”
“The benevolent warlock who works here ensures no rogue spirits nor curses linger in the halls of Hayward. His command of magic means that where other halls have the haunting calls of past souls at night, hayward instead remains in peaceful silence. Although the warlock is an often overlooked member of staff in contemporary society, Hayward affirms how important a single warlock can be on the living standards of a residence.”
“Hands down the one of the best gyms in New Zealand! Amazing vibe, incredible equipment and an owner who truly listens to members input! Absolute blessing to call this my gym!”
“First time trying to control an airplane, it was soooo insane!!!! Love it!”
“Lecture theatre is too comfy, too easy to fall asleep in boring stats classes, however not complaining so 5 stars”
“Man, what can I say but a banging good time - not quite as good as Shads ;)”
“Fantastic service! This store had the only copy in the country of a book my husband wanted for his birthday. I emailed them from Hawke's Bay and Daniel was super helpful in packaging up the book and sending it up to HB for me. It arrived one day later. Thanks so much!!”
“What a wonderful place and a lovely bunch of staff. Our boys have attended over the past 5 years and I cannot rate the awesome teachers highly enough. They are extremely caring and cater for kids of all needs. Our boys have fantastic bonds with the staff, and love to see them outside of the centre. Thanks for being our home away from home.”
“Was actually on way to pools long line of traffic only reason for being there but is a clean tidy park.”
“Extremely friendly and informative staff. Neat and good accommodation.”
“Great environment, everyone is extremely kind”

“Great school. Awesome learning inviroment”
“It's a undergrade students hostel. It has 37 apartments, each has 6 rooms. They are safe, warm and comfortable. Each apartment also has a kitchen / lounge area where residents socialise, relax and may prepare snack meals. For breakfast, there's a choice of cereals, breads, fruit and at least one hot dish every day. For lunch and dinner, there's a choice of mains with a vegetarian option always available. Fruit, vegetables, self-serve salads, desserts and a variety of drinks help to make meal times enjoyable and social occasions. Additionally, They provide so many things like bike-car parking, exercise room, laundry room and library too. This is the ideal place to live honestly.”
“Staff members are very friendly and kind, thanks.”
“Love the pride flag! Neat and tidy facilities! Plenty of off street parking for visitors!”
“Certainly a fun place to spend your first year as a student. The biggest university hall out of the lot, you get to meet a lot of new people and make plenty of friends. The grounds are so big you can easily get lost when you are new there. The rooms are small as expected but that's all you really need as a student. The toilets are unisex which can take a bit of getting used to. The food was very good and it was fun staying on the 8th floor which had a great view!”
“Great college and staff. So close to campus...”
