“Best coffee's in Rangiora by a long way. Awesome, super friendly staff. Highly recommended.”
“I've been coming to this place for years, since it opened and love it for a quiet sit down. The cheese scones I genuinely rate as the best in New Zealand. Very unique, light and fluffy on the inside with a nice crust on the outside. Huge too.”
“Very unimpressed with the gradual but consistent decline of the quality of food from this bakery. Pies have almost got no filling in them. Club sandwiches lacking consistency . Too lazy to even put a slice of bread in to separate the two sandwiches, when approached about this she admitted it and re wrapped it and put back in. Just because they have rebranded as Te Kowhai Cafe, does not make them anybetter than the original. Give them a miss , if you want to try a amazing bakery. Head down to last roundabout towards wintec, truckstop Cafe.. absolutely amazing food everything.. consistently.”
“Best coffee I have ever had.... Wish more cafe's could be trained by this lovely lady, she is a fantastic reason to go and get your best coffee ever... I will be back...”
“Had the Pork belly loaded fries. Outstanding flavour and portion size, it easily fed two of us. The atmosphere and service was also lovely, would definitely eat here again.”
“Toast was buttered, eggs were yellow and fluffy, bacon was just right and the hash browns were nice and crispy. Best breakfast I’ve had in ages ! Service was very friendly. I’ll be bringing my family back soon. Thanks”

Sandra was also very welcoming. Great fun and relaxing enjoyable atmosphere with the locals. Will definitely be back. Thank you all. See you next time”

“The food was really really good! And the garden was so lovely with the flowering plants and birds. Huge shoutout to the vintage goods store in the garden. The lady working there was especially kind when I was having trouble with my Australian bank card! Thankyou!”

“Great place to stop over for a break and have a meal. Neat little cafe near the river and it's next to the playground so the kids can play too. Plenty of seating inside and out. You can order cooked food from the menu or from the cabinet. Quality and tasty food. They have a small selection for Kids meals”
“What a great find, we were heading south and stopped in for a coffee and after seeing the pies could not pass up trying one. The pie I had was excellent as was the muffin my wife had, good flavour coffee and the service from the two young ladies was fantastic. Definitely worth a stop.”

“First time there and I will definitely be back! Food was great, had the big breakfast and it was delicious! Loved the peas on the side. Coffee is great and make sure you get a price of the ginger crunch slice to take home, it’s topped with pistachios and crystallised ginger and it’s to die for. Good service, our whole table was happy. Chicken tacos looked awesome!”
