Been about 5-6 times now. Iced chocolate is one of the best in Christchurch. I've only tried the cabinet food but all of it has been very tasty and well made. Savoury muffins are better than most others I've tried elsewhere. Can get a bit noisy but much quieter than the mall.
Scone was good. Coffee smooth, but very milky (medium). Staff members looked like they didn’t want to be here, and weren’t the most welcoming..polite however .
I had the Chicken Schnitzel special. It was pretty bad. I began eating the chicken realising it was not right. It was like rubber. My friend said not to eat it as she agreed with me. I told the waitress and she passed this on. The chef did not speak to us, rather sat at another table laughing and chatting with others. At times the conversation was pointed at us, while the female continued to remind them to talk quietly. Rather disgusting behaviour and food.
Range of food was great but was given it cold. I had to ask staff to reheat. Shouldn't have to ask for hot food. Caramel coffee was way too sweet
Loved this Cafe so much. So much yummy looking cabinet food and a good selection on the menu. Food and drinks came out quickly. Staff were polite, friendly, helpful. Good coffee and tasty food. We barely left a crumb. Wish this Cafe was my local! There's so many more things I wanted to try. Definitely check it out!
Made my sister sick within 20 minutes stomachs were churning rejecting it. These ‘creamy mushrooms’ were the worst we have ever tasted and seen. There is no flavor, skill or love behind this recipe. Slime cornflour lumpy texture, no seasoning. Absolutely AWFUL. Please do not order this.
Coffee and food was ok. Bright interior and outdoor nice seats. It serves good range of kitchen meals and alcohol. They looks good but haven't got a chance to try.
Great feeling modern Cafe, feels like a independent coffee culture, but now upper class. Solid menu & coffee, and good quick service! Supports entertainment voucher at date of posting. Edit: We enjoyed our first visit so much we came back! The fruit today was cheap and tasty and the whitebait fritters were an absolute treat! The iced mocha is the best I've ever had. No joke.
