Beauty pies and interesting options. Excellent pastry. Pies made on site. Huge sausage roll filled with onion, cheese, carrot and meat in the right proportions. Very good coffee. Device prompt and efficient
The pies where $9.20 each. We got a mince and cheese and steak and cheese. the mince and cheese had no cheese, was cold, and dry. The steak and cheese had no steak, no cheese, was also cold and dry, and the gravy was semi dried. the time of purchase was about 12:30. I am sure I have the correct place.
Best steak pie I’ve ever had. The buns were delicious and the iced coffee was just what I wanted. I am glad we stopped here.
Great bakery with good food. It was worth the stop, and the pies were extremely good. Photos are of their steak, cheese, and jalapeño pie. ginger and oat slice and cream donut.
What a great find, we were heading south and stopped in for a coffee and after seeing the pies could not pass up trying one. The pie I had was excellent as was the muffin my wife had, good flavour coffee and the service from the two young ladies was fantastic. Definitely worth a stop.
A small and warm local pie and bakery cafe, a well balanced mince n cheese pie. Coffee is good as usual.
Great lunch stop on the drive from Auckland to Rotorua. Pepper steak pie was tasty. Only one staff member on at lunch time so there was a little wait. Convenient street parking out the front.
Drove past the Sweet Painted Lady Cafe the other day and decided to stop in today for Valentine's Day. It was unfortunate to have such dull customer service to the point of wondering if the person liked their job. The food was overpriced and sadly didn't deliver. The food was tasty enough to eat but the overall experience left me not wanting to come back.
