Golden Pie Bakery is a total gem! From the second you walk in, the staff makes you feel like a regular with their warm and welcoming energy. The food is top-tierβperfectly baked and full of flavor. Itβs rare to find a place that nails both the service and the quality of the food so consistently. Highly recommended!

Bought a bacon&egg quiche with green leafy vege all through with red capsicum diced bits so many chunky diced bacon all through out was so moist especially the egg like each bite was just a delicious hot breakfast in a pastry so fresh ,yummy .
The pΔua pie pastry is flaky, soft and a great tasty meal. The filling is soooo creamy and yum. Fish n chips with pΔua topping. Fresh and hot. Love the crisscut chips with the pΔua topping. Fish was fantastic and yummy. This is my second trip back for that taste of a pΔua pie. Worth every bite n road trip coming from Otara, Auckland. Good to try something new as well while making the trip, itβs worth the trip.
The prices here are good for the quality of the food. Their big breakfast consists of 2 eggs, hash brown, tomato, sausage & bacon, costs $17.50. You could pay up to $25 at most other places. I often eat here if I'm visiting ATF avalon gym. I like the friendly service as well.
The pies are the best! Service is good. Unfortunately, the bins are always full to overflowing both inside the store and outside. But they make an amazing Chicken Cranberry and Brie pie!!
Your standard bakery, nothing fancy. They open early, which is great!
Those cream donuts are the best!! Really. We tried to buy similar elsewhere in NZ but couldn't find them. The donut is light and soft. Simple powdered sugar, with cream inside. We will be dreaming about these for a whilie.
