“Took a small party out for my wife's birthday. The food was great, and served quickly after ordering. I particularly liked the kumara fries! Was a great recommendation from the owner. Service was exceptional, you can tell when someone actually cares about their patrons. It showed in the number of people inside the business. It was a rainy Sunday evening and the resteraunt was at capacity! There was live music and good vibes in abundance. Despite being busy the proprietor checked on us multiple times, and once the live band had finished and a few people had left a table cleared inside which he offered to us for a more pleasant experience. Thank you for the hard work, we will be back!”

“Really good food, but very small portions for the price. Look, I don't mind paying a lot of money for good food, but giving an amazing bene with one piece of bread instead of two saves you $0.10 and takes away my full enjoyment of the meal. I would be posting a 5 star review if I just received two pieces of bread.”
“Some of the tastiest food I’ve eaten. We went in quite early and was pretty busy by the time we left. 6 or 7 dishes between two. Will be back again.”

The service was on point and Ben was always on hand with any help and serving the food. All our guests enjoyed it so much and promised to return. The food was great! “This has to be the best local bar in Auckland! The service is exceptional, with amazingly friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is brilliant—lively, welcoming, and full of good vibes, with friendly local patrons adding to the charm. The beer selection is fantastic, with something for everyone, including some great craft options. The food is simple but absolutely delightful. The three-cheese toasted sandwiches are an absolute must-try, especially at midnight—they’re to die for! Plus, the option to grab fish and chips from the shop next door and enjoy them outside adds a unique, laid-back charm to the place. Perfect for unwinding with friends or enjoying a great night out. Great to see the quality experience wasn't a once off. Very friendly staff especially the mascot pup Oden. Service was fast friendly and no problem with my requests for a custom burger. Food was real, fresh and very enjoyable. Thanks guys we will be :-)”

“My friend and I visited this cocktail bar when we were in Christchurch a few weeks ago, and had a great time. We came here because I found this place online while we were planning and said I really wanted to go. It was hard to pick what to order because everything on the menu sounded fantastic. We're both fans of interesting signature drinks at cocktail bars, and this bar had heaps of them. I had the Merchant's Mark and my friend had the Shaitan's Favour and both drinks were fantastic. I'd recommend them both. Even though the place got a bit busy, the bartender was friendly and approachable without being invasive or intrusive. We sat right at the bar and really enjoyed watching the bartender at work, because it was clear he was extremely skilled at his job. We had a great chat with him about different spirits and liqueurs as well.”
