My brake discs which were previously replaced, had not really performed as the should have. Although out of warranty sometime ago Glyn and front of shop person Amber worked together and sourced replacement ones Glyn then replaced the disc's without hesitation Worked on the car with speed and efficiency Ensuring the car was safe and sound for many more kms The lovely banter between them all in the workshop was so good yet professional. “After getting diagnostics from Autoelectricians and mechanics in Cambridge, Hamilton and Tauranga I drove to Napier to DSL because they seemed to have a "handle" on the problem with my Subaru Diesel showing fault lights with Park Brake, Traction Control System and DPF resulting in car running in limp home mode. The latter effectively killing auto park brake, hill-start, cruise control and severely handicapping the performance of an otherwise lively engine. 2 hours with "Phil" at DSL and I was handed back a car with all systems functioning and an almost new life. In fairness he did warn me that it is "an extension" and that eventually I would need an EGR and DPF restorative clean (not cheap) but at least they did what even the Subaru dealership in Tauranga couldn't manage. Thanks guys. It was certainly worth the three hour drive over and I will be back for the additional work when required. My hats off to your thoroughness and skills -”

After almost 5 years of getting ripped off in Auckland, coming back to Karl and getting my car in for some repairs and a WOF today was a huge relief. He charged me a third of the price I was quoted in multiple AKL garages, he was super quick and lovely as well, the exact same experience I had five years ago. I’ve found mechanics quite intimidating as a young woman ever since I got my first car, it’s been a point of stress to have to get anything done on it so finding Karl and his team has been a sigh of relief, no muss no fuss just a good bloke trying to help get your car on the road.
