   Macca took us in straight away, as we were on our way down to Central Otago. He diagnosed the issue, ordered parts and installed them in super fast time. He even gave very useful tips on our route to Central. The bill was very fair as well. I highly recommend Darfield Automotive.

   Lots of friendly banter but one has got to question its sincerity when we ended up with a bill that is more than the value of our trailer. Lesson learnt, get a quote, but even that will not guard against more "issues" being found after good money has already been committed.

   Supplied axle seal for them to put in. Picked up ute got invoice and had on it they had to replace the other side e seal aswell. a month on and I've got my ute at my local mechanic to get the seal replaced that the done with out telling me but it's never been taken apart. Charged me for parts and labour that has never taken place

   The staff were pleasant and professional making dealing with the autmotive centre easy. However my WOF diagnosed on a travellers van came with multiple issues including structural work to a doorframe and replacing gearbox housing. Feeling unsure I took my van into town to a garage I am more familiar with. They disagreed with everything that was reported and granted a WOF that afternoon with no work needed. Take from that what you will. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially to those who are not local.
