   What an amazing experience. We visited this cafe as it was dog friendly and our pooch was welcomed and fussed over. Had Devonshire teas and everything was perfect. Huge pot of tea and large plunger of coffee. Photos show the gardens and sculptures. We will be back.

   You must vist Birdwoods Gallery if you are in Hawkes Bay. We took our dog and we were all given a very warm welcome. The service was excellent, the food tasty and the coffee was good, too. The sculpture garden was entertaining and, let's not forget the ostriches!! Oh! And make sure you visit the old fadhioned Lolly Shop!! Venetian added perfectly to the old world charm of the place, with her warm greeting and extensive knowledge of all things sweet!!

   Incredible place to stop off at...the sweet store alone is worth it! We only got drinks from the cafe/restaurant however the service was incredible! Easy parking, clean toilets, plenty of beautiful gardens for the kids to explore and art sculptures to admire. Plus you can feed the Ostrich! A very cool place to visit for a quick catch up or family outing...defs worth the effort if you're holidaying and looking for something a bit different yet fun!!

   Staff were so accommodating and friendly as we showed up without a reservation and the staff were so kind to set us up a table (thank you). The atmosphere & scenes were stunning. The food was so tasty & wholesome. Would absolutely return & recommend to anybody thats never been or planning to go.

   Hubby had Slow Braised Beef Cheek burger n chips 4/5. I had Winter Wild Rice with Chicken 3/5. V lil pumpkin& chicken and while nice, was light on the dressing (lil taste) Fab Customer service Coffee ok Great we could book and seating was lovely Have to admit the selection of food items here is very good Lolly shop worth a look, tho pricey Loved ALL the Sculptures outside and shop has some lovely items Definitely worth a visit

   We recently held a baby shower using the garden room. While the birdwoods is a wonderful place to visit on any occasion, the service and presentation for this event blew me away. The staff were fantastic, the food glorious, the setting stunning. I would 100% do it all again.
