   The only reason im doing a bad review is because a staff member took our try of food which still had my daughter's food on it, and dumped it in the bin. Im still getting crap from my 11 year old about her half a burger. Macdonalds is a treat for us, and we dont do it often. Maybe once a month and we are a big family.. so I feel a little let down in that regard. Ideally you should wait until people leave and we were a big group so it makes even less sense to remove things. Perhaps as I was tidying up the wrappers they swooped in to help, but in fact binned the food we were saving whilst the children played in the internal playground.

   I recommed not to come to this Mcdonalds. The napier one is good and the hastings one is good. Havelock has rude staff and. a whole lot of kids not knowing what they are doing. I asked them if i could use the maccas app and one of them didnt even know what is was. I orded a sprite it hardly had any flavour, it was pretty much just fizzy water. Once i also orderd pancakes for breakfast and they were ice cold. Hardly any ketchup in the cheeseburger. Macers is usually something ilook forward to, but not from this restaurant.

   Ty Deserves a McRaise! You know, I’m not usually one for writing reviews like this but hey after my experience today I had no choice. The new manager Ty is an absolute legend. You can tell he runs the place like it’s a five star restaurant. He is friendly, efficient and very organised. I ordered a Happy Meal from McDonalds, but I can safely say it wasn’t the cheeseburger or the toy making me happy it was Ty. Honestly, if I had it my way I would put Ty’s face on the Happy Meal. I dined in, but what I really wanted was to take Ty out. Amazing experience really, will come again. Ty, if you are reading this, never leave! You are the McHero we didn’t know we needed.

   This store is forever giving you the smallest amount of onion they possibly can in QPs, I don't know why, no other McDonald's is this skint, Hastings and Napier don't do it and I've been to ones all over nz. Just got the new QP with crispy onion, same thing, might as well not even list it as an ingredient

   Just been through the drive thru, given the order and checked with the attendant what the order should be . I received a blank look then I asked for the sundae she had on the counter which was the only part of our order which was correct. Wrong order which would have cost less than what I ordered . Poor service poor management of a process.

   Hardly get the orders right, service is terrible everytime ive been there which is all of a hand full of times if that, both drive through and walk in. Left waiting for ages which mean wev gotten cold food or chips and when try to exchange it we got attitude and or ignored. Just stopped going to save the complaints and wasting money an time.

   Every time we go through the drive through our meal doesn’t come out and we end up with someone missing out on their meal or we have to go in and re do our order… Had 3 people bring out other people’s orders to us while we were parked up. Pretty shocking

   It tastes like McDonald's alright. They have a tablet where you can choose songs to play. Of course, the sound is so low, and the place is so loud that you can't hear the songs anyway. However, you can watch the videos for the songs that have them.

   Today I went in around 1040 and placed my order. All was good but then I had a long wait for my order. I will admit it was a larger order however at one point I was one of 3 orders there. I ordered a serous Angus with extra red onion, extra pcikle and light bacon. I got home opened it and found no patty. So because of the slow service and no meat on the burger they get 2 stars.
