“I have no idea why people are giving such bad reviews on this place. EVERY medical centre has wait times, my mother and sister are at 2 different medical centres and they both have to wait upto an hour to get seen. Not to mention my sister had to wait 2 and a half weeks at her centre for an urgent appointment because she was BLEEDING. Which is absolutely insane! It’s actually horrific. Personally my partner, son and I have had great experiences with waiting times for appointments and wait times for getting an appointment itself. Some people just LOVE to winge- and all of these people that have left bad reviews are those people. Go to any other centre and you will see the wait time for an appointment is no different. You can always get a same day urgent appointment here as well- which is incredible if you have children and babies especially! I have a 2 year old son and we have belonged to this centre for years- and I have ALWAYS been able to get a same day urgent appointment for him when he is sick, knocked his head or has ear infections- which he has had a bad run with etc. All of these doctors and nurses are fantastic, caring and so professional. Super great with kids as well. I genuinely wouldn’t change or go to another medical centre! The staff here need a raise or a medal for how awesome they are/ have been. 100 stars!!”

“Two weeks ago I was on a cruise to New Zealand. I had had a procedure done prior to leaving Australia and it became infected on the seas. I was hanging to get to Dunedin to get assistance. The staff were just such lovely helpful people right from the moment I arrived to my departure. I was taken care of so professionally by everyone, things were done so I could get back on the ship by days end. A specialist was called, she was just wonderful. All in all the very best experience in an emergency in my life. (I've had a few). Thankyou to everyone, you are a shining beacon to others with your professionalism and empathetic care. Soo-Wee is not only an exceptional oral surgeons, him and his staff have the highest level of customer services skills I have found in Dunedin! Soo-Wee always made me feel comfortable and that wouldn't have Been easy given I am highly sensitive about getting any dental procedures done. Not only did he take time out to make me feel comfortable he custom made my procedure to ensure I was feeling the most comfortable I could. He is a genuine person and amazing at what he does along with the patience and in depth knowledge he has makes him a phenomenal surgeon ! All of the nurses there are amazing and take care of you in the most gentle and thoughtful ways. The lovely receptionist Chanelle and Fern were absolutely so wonderful and it was always a treat to see them all. I couldn't recommend Origin Oral Surgeons more for anyone wanting both excellent pre and post Oral Surgery care !”

My hubby needed a hearing test plus we needed to do a few messages in town so I accompanied him to his test, the lovely receptionist offered us coffee while we waiting, coffee was good! Guy that did the hearing test was very thorough, explained everything in normal language and answered all the questions we had, he was very professional and accommodating. Great service all round.”

“My #1 address in Dunedin when it comes to holistic health. I had an osteopathic treatment with "Thierry Rey". I was suffering from severe back pain. After one session the pain was entirely gone. I could almost not believe it, after no-one had been able to help me before. Next day I went for an acupuncture treatment with "John Swift" to decrease the inflammation that had built up in my back muscles over time. He did an amazing job. During the session he explained every step, always asking if I am alright. He is incredibly knowledgeable and a wise man. Last but not least it needs to be said that the team at the reception does a fantastic job. I felt very welcome. Such lovely and attentive people. Thank you so much for helping me!”

“Excellent level of care. Staff are very professional and compassionate. Cafe onsite for coffee and light eats for visitors and room service meal options for the patients. Carparking is available on site and is limited (better to get there early). I arrived at 10am one day and needed to park quite far down the street but got a park later in the day very easily. This hospital has a very high standard of Healthcare.”
