“I saw Dr Coran Turner to check my many skin spots for cancer. I found Dr Turner very professional but also kind and sincere. It was a very positive and reassuring appointment. I would 100% recommend this doctor.”
“Three years of dealing with health in a diligent and professional manner. They deserve a medal.”
“I love this place. They treated me and my family with the highest of respects and they watched over my 3 nephews and niece till I got there from Hamilton. They provide WAY more then I thought they would and everything we need was right the with no arguments, no attitudes or dirty looks they were the best and my heart is full of love for the nurses, doctors, surgeons, cleaners, laundry, reception JUST Everyone and I can't thank them enough”
“First time at VLD, great experience. Pain free, excellent communication and on time. Highly recommend”
“Great that we have this place, but 11pm close is a bit early”
“I want to write a review especially after being treated terribly at a different medical center. The doctors, nurses and receptionist were all super friendly to me when I visited. I understand it’s been a long day for them, yet they’re still showing a lot of empathy and care which made up for the little accident I got.”
“Super quick responsive support from a very professional, empathetic and friendly service.”
“I phoned on a Monday, explained my situation and was booked in first thing Friday morning. I arrived 15mins before my appointment time to fill out paperwork but didn't even finish it before being called in. The Dentistry student was awesome! Made me feel comfortable(I hate dentists), made sure I didn't have questions and double checked all my information. My issue turned out to be a Wisdom tooth, which they were able to be extracted the same day. I have also booked in for a few weeks time to have my other Wisdom tooth out. Highly recommend this place for your teeth needs! Professional staff and made me feel good leaving the place although I knew the pain would be coming later that day.”
“huge thank you to team as we had to say goodbye to much loved Milo our dear old girl. real compassion shown by all especially appreciative of girl who took tearful call in the morning and managed to find a space for us. very kind and understanding vet throughout our goodbyes. many thanks to you all”

“Wonderful attentive care at Mosgiel Health Centre always”
“I spent time with Lilia this morning as she helped me search for new perfumes and Christmas gifts for my family, she was incredibly helpful and was the most friendly salesperson. She went above and beyond and was so patient, she seemed genuinely interested in helping me find new perfumes and I couldn't have been more happy with my purchases! Thank you Lilia ☺️”
“Came here for a couple weeks for a winter getaway. Was not disappointed! Outstanding service from the gourmet dining in to the karaoke lounge room classes. If you are visiting Dunedin this is the place to stay! Luxurious bedding, breakfast in bed and they even have a a tennis court. There’s no time for boredom at the Wakari resort; if you’re not out shooting hoops or taking a piss there’s a huge selection of essential oils to smell at the reception area. If I haven’t convinced you yet picture yourself in front of a flat screen tv relaxing to informercials, creating masterpieces in the spacious art area or cigarette but collecting in the beautiful gardens with your new friends. This place truly has it all.”
“A great experience at the urgent Doctors. I arrived and gave all my details to the lovely receptionist. After 5 minutes I spoke to the triage nurse regarding my problem. I was directed to sit down again in the waiting room and after 15 minutes I was called to room 1. The doctor was so thorough with my assessment and diagnosis. I was so impressed with her even down to finding the chemist that was open the earliest to send my script to 10/10”
“I went in for an eye check. Reception was excellent. The eye check went very smoothly. I had a good experience.”
“Well and truly looked after in the last couple of days by the ED staff. I was checked on often and informed about wait times ect which I appreciated. Offered refreshments while waiting too. Very good care and very friendly staff. Thankyou”
“Attended for teaching purposes. A centre of excellence for treatment of psyhiatric disorders.”
“Saw after hours doctor on the weekend. From the receptionist to the doctor, they were so kind. Was seen in twenty mins. Appreciate your hard work and dedication.”
“I don't get why the reviews here are so low, just because it's a clinic and you go there because of something that's making you feel bad doesn't mean that it's a poor institution. A public Healthcare service is fundamentally different than something like a pub or tattoo parlor. Firstly the staff are all nice enough, including reception which is a fairly boring/draining position. I'm a visible minority and an international student and genderqueer, if there was any discrimination I'd notice it, but nope nothing. Wait and reservation times during busy periods can go for weeks to maybe two months depending on the specialization of what you're requesting, but this is a pretty good speed if you compare with public Healthcare elsewhere in other countries etc. And for anything that can be done at walk-in, yeah the pace is great. In terms of the actual healthcare, everyone makes it a comfortable environment, which in of itself makes any treatment procedures discussion etc easier. Staff are also willing to accommodate and speed up processes avoid road bumps etc to make the service more efficient faster logical you get the idea. Glad to see people aren't bending over backward to follow healthcare beauracracy when it doesn't make sense. It's not like you have surgery or anything precise here, so there aren't really measures of procedure quality that can be used as points of detriment for here. I could not get one of my medications I got prescribed for back home, but it's simpmy not legally produced in New Zealand that's out of their hands. For mental health psychiatrist therapy etc it's more subjective what your experience is, but I didn't have any issues with my appointment. Can't speak for others obviously, but even if you felt you had or it just was a poor session, it is not reflective of all the collective services here. TLDR yall trippin, this is a good service. Would like to see people try out healthcare clinics in USA or Germany or heaven forbid a developing country.”
