My son initially struggled with friendships and the teachers did an amazing job at discussing this with me and supporting him to make friends. It is so beautiful and I really get a sense of peace so I can focus on my yoga practice, so much nicer than going to a gym as you get the whole experience & much more. The lovely teachers have given me more attention because of the smaller class sizes and they have taken the time to get to know what works best for my body. I couldn't recommend Yoga by Karma enough! “I had a great experience with SOLE academy. I entered with very little musical experience, some tightness when trying to sing, and no way in hell I’d sing in front of anyone. My vocal coach (Ananda) was very encouraging and built up my confidence. She also had a knack for picking the right thing for me to work on and made it easy for me to understand and improve. After a short stint of lessons I have already gained a lot and singing around the home (which I never used to). The communication and experience from the whole SOLE team was very good and I couldn’t recommend any higher!”

“My paragliding journey started with a wonderful tandem flight with Grey Hamilton, the head honcho at Cloudbase Paragliding in Christchurch, and I fell in love with paragliding straight away. I decided to go to another company in Queenstown (just for the scenery) to start my paragliding training, but really didn't enjoy the teaching methods there so I came back to Christchurch to finish my training and become a qualified paraglider pilot. And I'm so glad I did! For starters, the scenery in Christchurch is also beautiful, but while you're learning you're concentrating so much you don't really think about that. What is much more important is what, and how you learn. Grey and his assistant instructors are very experienced, and they teach with care, patience, and with safety at the forefront. Also, (unlike in QT) they really love what they're doing, and I was never made to feel like I was wasting the instructor's time when it took me a while to learn something new. Grey also teaches all the necessary theory, from the physics of flying, to airspace law, to meteorology, and helps you through all the exams you need to pass to qualify. Having recently been awarded my licence, I feel super confident to explore NZ with my new gear (which Grey very kindly sourced for me at a discount price) ready to put my new skills into practice. And now I can enjoy all that beautiful scenery with no stress! Thanks to everyone at Cloudbase! :)”

“We hold an acroyoga jam at Evolve Studio and it was amazing. We were lucky to get this space free one day for our jam. It is close to the CBD and it was easy to get in using the code. The space is super clean and offers fully equipped toilets and there is a kitchen with filtered water. What a gorgeous studio! We could fit 14 people easily and still had plenty of space. Loved the mirrors and the plants. Taryn, the owner, super friendly and was super kind! Can't wait to use this space again. Thank you!”

Every one of the teachers and support staff always made us feel welcome each day, staff were always approachable and the communication was amazing. Our girls were loved and cared for each day and their days were full of fun and different learning activities and opportunities. The transition to school from preschool was seamless and they were well prepared for school thanks to the amazing teachers at Kindercare. We have made lifelong friends from families at preschool and my daughters always love going back for a catch up.”

“Went in to have a one-on-one two hour training session as I hadn't been in the riding seat for about three years. Walked out with my BHST! Steve was absolutely phenomenal. Great sense of humour, made me feel super at ease and confident. He wasn't afraid to hold me accountable when I made silly mistakes, which is exactly what I needed as he could pin point the moments I started overthinking things. He had a great way about him, the session was relaxed, covered all the basics, and when watching back the videos my friend took I hear myself laughing most of the time. Great fun, and Steve was a big part of that. Ornsby better watch out though as I'm devising a plan to steal that blue GN! Highly recommend.”
