“I emailed with a hopeful chance that they might accommodate a ride on Christmas day, and was thrilled that they could. Hannah and Kata greeted us and I produced us to our horses. My mother and I are experienced riders, but had never been on Icelandic horses before. We rode along a wetland with black swans, through beautiful pine forests, and along the ocean beach. They were impressive, easily moving through the trails and powerful through the sand. Kata and Hannah even taught us a new gait, the tolt, special to these incredible builds. The speed they could gain on the beach was exhilarating. Definitely not a horse just for kids. Would highly recommend this horse, this route, and this company!”

It’s such a great community – everyone is welcoming and encouraging, which makes turning up so much easier. I love that they run regular challenges to keep you accountable and add a fun competitive twist. The workouts are always versatile and never boring, which keeps me motivated. “Over a two week period I have completed the PG1 and PG2 course then passed my Paramotoring course through Parapro - with Dave. The course exceeded my expectations. Over the two week period I observed that Dave is the most experienced instructor in Christchurch (due to his age and time flying) his mannerism is both calming and reassuring, which made him an awesome instructor. I came away with the confidence to continue flying on my own. Hopefully for many years to come. So if its been on your bucket list, give Dave a ring - you won't be disappointed! “My now 5 year old spent over 4 years at Annabel’s before recently starting school, she loved her time there she had great bonds with her teachers and peers. My 1 year old is still in the nursery and he loves his teachers they have great ratios and form a close bond with their key teacher. We have been very happy with Annabel’s and the staff! The new centre manager is doing a great job and is supported by a great team of teachers.”

Level of teaching is great, always leave class feeling like you have accomplished what was taught & plenty of opportunity is given to practice what is being taught. A great variety of classes/styles are on offer. Can not recommend Salsa Latina enough. You are literally learning from one of the best ☺️”

“Lynette is an absolute legend. Both my children had lessons and passed their restricted 1st go. One of mine was super nervous to drive and Lynette absolutely calmed her down and gave her the confidence needed to drive. I also highly recommend, when it comes to the test day, you book the lesson and test package. The support role Lynette plays really helped both my kids feel relaxed as she was with them as their support person the whole time during the test. Thank you so much Lynette, you are an amazing driving instructor and wonderful Lady. We will always be so thankful to you.”

The rooms are warm, bright and welcoming. As well as having fun their musical aptitude is going from strength to strength. My five year old plays piano with both hands. My seven year old can finally sing in tune. The Chch Music Academy classes are great value for money and an asset for the children of Christchurch. I love the easy parking too:)”

“Beststart has some of the most calming and easy to communicate stuff members. Their goals of early childhood education is clear and direct and easy to follow along with, especially for the growth of your children.I would recommend highly to anyone who needs a pre-school/Daycare. One thing I struggled with was money but Best Start offers affordable daycare. Very thankful to have them so close to home ♡”
