“Finding delicious gluten free foods can be challenging especially baked type goods. These are absolutely delicious and taste like normal pies that I know and love. Thank you! Review based on beef and gravy and butter chicken pies.”

“Amazing Japanese store, equivalent version/size of kosco and sunson. Products range from food and drink to cosmetic products and homeware. Price on the higher end. Friendly staff, well organised store and isles, ample parking outside with family friendly parking space.”
“Good selection & if you are a local is happy to accommodate requests on stock holding. Pricing is not too outrageous - certainly comparable to anyone else in the market.”
“Nice and cozy place to buy fresh vegetables, fruits and meat. They offer weekly special to the customers in terms of veggies and the quality is absolutely worth a visit. We also had experience of getting fresh beef and ham from the store, which tasted amazingly good. Overall it's a medium-sized shop close to the city where you can get good necessities if you are looking for some.”
“Great experience. Check-in was quick. Park is huge with lots of space between campers. Kitchen, BBQ, and washrooms were brand new. Laundry takes 2x $2 coins per machine. Overall great stay would recommend. Recommendations for park: double sided dump stations to allow more efficient departure times”
“Great layout of the supermarket love the on the go food set up with hot pies sandwiches sweets ready meals well set up has a pineapple machine in the fruit area espresso coffee at front of supermarket”
“Great products but being from Brisbane I usually only shop at Aldi's, no comparison.”
“When I was staying in parkland last week I visited this store. Was clean and well set out compared yo the last time I was down these ways. Got talking to the owner and they have fairly recently bought the store. Such a warm and welcoming husband and wife team which shines through. Wish you all the best in your venture!”
“Only place for the Sri Lankan food items in Christchurch. Customer service was really great and highly appreciate his warm welcome. Good place to please your Sri Lankan tooth.”
“Great location and warm, respectful service. Lay out easy as to navigate.”
“Tonight I dropped a bottle of milk outside and took it back in dripping all over the place. The kind lady at the checkouts came to the door, took it from me and told me to get a replacement. She then asked for help to clean it all up. A young man came to help. I appreciate all that helped with this matter. I wasn't charged for the new bottle even though I tried to pay for it. I was told it was an accident and not to worry. Thanks again team and I am so sorry for the mess.”

“Thank you to the lovely lady at the coffee counter who made me a tea today, despite the fact I ignored the giant sign saying the coffee counter was closed.”
“This is just the best bin Inn in NZ. Always friendly service and trying to get what you need if not in stock. We both enjoy buying our supplies here. The parking out front makes a quick shop very easy.”
“HUGE selection of nuts, seeds, many different kinds of flours, dried fruit (food is organic and non-organic) as well as Indian products. Staff really helpful. Buy yourself a chilled Mango Lasso and mild or hot Punjabi Samosa on the way out!”
“For those of us who come to the Bottle Store looking for $3 Strong beers I cant recommend anything better than, Hite - Extra Strong Beer, something I've only seen stocked here. Less offensively 'clear spirit' tasting than Royal Dutch, not as sweet as 8.6, a little more flavorful than Haagen and far less bitter than Carlsberg. After the Kingfisher price hike this is my go to. A perfect middle of the road Strong Beer in terms of taste and price.”
“Great local liquor store! Thirst Liquor Islington always has a solid range of drinks at fair, consistent prices. The prices are firm, but you know you’re getting good value. The staff are friendly, helpful, and know their stuff — they make every visit quick and easy. Definitely my go-to spot in the area!”
