“This was our first time at Waiheke Island we loved every day we stayed. One O One cabins was beautiful & peaceful the cabin was equipped with all you needed clean and modern. A sunny spot listening to the Tui each morning. Our only tip would be, be aware of all steps as it is a climb if you struggle with going up and down. Thank you for an amazing stay.”

“The building of our holiday was very enjoyable and was enhanced by Danielle's knowledge and experience. Our holiday was fantastic with free time as well as pre-booked activities, all of which worked like clockwork. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency during our time in Australia and I would particularly like to thank Jaydene for her help and support to Heather while I was in hospital. It was a great help to her during a particularly stressful time. I have used other travel companies in the past but the experience with First Light Travel was better than any of the others. “This place is so great it's hard to describe. Amazing location, with a fantastic view of Auckland in the distance. Very calm, very quiet, and to wake up with that view in the mornings is just amazing. I would recommend this to any couple wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Plus, Waikehe island is a fantastic place in general, a minor tropical paradise. Don't miss renting a car and driving around the island to visit the wineries.”

“Four women in our early 60s, we've been friends for 40 years. One living overseas, one in the South Island, two in Auckland, we catch up for a weekend once every 18 months or so. We had the most wonderful time at Blue Tides. It was perfect accommodation for us. We could spread out, each had a room of our own, views to die for, and everything we needed. Highly recommend!”

“We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Auckland. The location is perfect – set in a lovely, peaceful area with absolutely stunning views of the sea, boats, and the bridge. The house itself is stylish, full of light, and thoughtfully designed. It felt very comfortable and had everything we needed – from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy spaces to relax. We especially appreciated the little touches like having milk in the fridge on arrival – such a kind and welcoming gesture, as well as the cot provided for our kid, which was important for us. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic stay in Auckland!”

“This was our second stay in the villas. We really like the somewhat remote location (but not too remote), the quiet and the beautiful view from the villas. On clear nights, the sky is incredibly as there are not many other locations around. There are lots of birds to watch, and some are not even very shy. The villas are well equipped, nicely decorated and we appreciated the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge during our current stay. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and provides wonderful bathroom products. We would definitely choose this location again. There are two things that might be worth improving: 1. The pool is always covered to avoid having to deal with falling leaves in the water. You have to uncover it any time you want to use it and cover it again after use. As a guest, this does not come across as very welcoming and it would be more convenient if someone to opened it in the morning and covered it at night. 2. If you stay for more than one or two nights, it would be nice if someone would exchange towels or bring extra towels and take out the trash. We did not expect that there was no service at all during our stay and this should be communicated more clearly.”

“After an initial rocky start with noisy neighbours, the hotel reception shifted me to a different floor. The old room and the new room were identical. Both of them were great and quite clean maybe 9/10. The bed was comfortable, also clean and medium firmness, which I liked. Shower pressure in both rooms were good. Generally, I think this is a good place to stay if you need to be on Auckland's North Shore. Interactions with reception and housekeeping were always pleasant. There were very, very minor issues like the kettle flap was broken, the dryer ran extremely loudly. I was a little embarrassed to use the dryer at night due to the noise. The towels were thin and could be thicker.”

“Moving house is extremely stressful, so I was amazed at how smoothly and easily everything went! Lucas was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole rental process — from the initial viewing to signing the paperwork. His communication was clear, prompt, and genuinely thoughtful. He made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. It’s clear he cares about doing a great job, and I really appreciated the professional yet personal touch. The apm systems also seem really efficient — everything from the application to the lease signing was straightforward and well organised. Leanne, the Property Manager, has also been incredibly kind, professional, and responsive. Highly recommend the apm team for a smooth, supportive, and well-run rental experience!”

“We had our original camp site which was booked a year in advance cancelled last minute for labour weekend due to council pest spraying. After years of planning our family camp, we were desperate to seek urgent accommodation for our large family (100+). I phoned the Clark’s beach holiday park the week of labour weekend and the owners were Amazing! They heard our cries, they catered to our last minute request and had done their best to cater to all our needs and they delivered - truely angels! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality ❤️”

“I haven't been there in so long, since 1990ish but my childhood memories of your park were so awesome, we were safe to run round free and unsupervised in our ever expanding packs, (tho it was harder to injure 80's children) so many families in the summer and everyone, staff and patrons were all lovely and courteous. There was tree swings, n family movies at night played on giant projector screens that all the kids watched from duvet+ pillow forts on a grass bank before bed. The prickles were my least favorite thing, but we stayed in our giant tyre tube's in the creek most of the day. I love so much the refusal to engage nasty insult comments. Those 30 yr old memories are still probably my best n happiest of camping as a kid. I hope the legacy review isn't out of place.”

“We stayed here in December, 2022. The accommodation was clean & located right at the harbour. Downstairs was a host of fine restaurants and night life. Close to the heart of the city.”

“Look by any means this place is not super flash but I think it’s seriously good value. I stayed for 2 nights at $160 a night in the run up to Xmas. Great location, great price and a great big room with a super comfy bed. Also used the pool which was all ok. Remember to take your room towel as the day I was there none were provided. Lastly check in and staff were all good. Remember people it’s $160 NZD for a massive room in the middle of the city.”

“We have used Mt Richmond hotel multiple times over the years. Never had any issues or anything that can't be fixed. Staff always are friendly and willing to help. Food at the restaurant is constantly good and tastes yummy. The chiefs always pop out to check how the meals going. Would recommend to anyone. Bonus there's a pool and hot tub.”

“We have stayed in this amazing homely beach house a couple of times now, it is beautiful inside and out, all the home comforts for summer or winter getaways, close to all the amenities, the beach is just perfect and close to enjoy walking and taking in the environment, The place is immaculate although we are only a couple perfect for family as this place caters well for the family. Little touches like muffins on arrival these little things go a long way. Will always be back. If I could have given more stars I would Thank you making our time so special”

“Stayed at a beautiful house on Mangatawhiri Road, Omaha managed by Omaha Holiday Homes. Place was amazing. Beautiful outdoor living and huge kitchen. The house was clean and well maintained. Jason kept us up to date with information even gave us a late checkout. Highly recommend this place for a special event with family or friends. Will he using them again in Novemeber, can't wait.”
